RiverFi Portable Bluetooth Speaker + 2600mAh Battery Bank

After looking through a crazy amount of portable speakers on heaps of websites, I'm certain that I could not have found a speaker more suited to my needs than this little beauty.I wanted something that could play off an SD card, so that I didn't have to have any other devices with me for it to play music. Of course this speaker does have a bluetooth function too, which might come in handy for me sometime.I also wanted something with reasonable battery life. So many other speaker would state the average battery life between 2 and 6 hours, but this little guy has up to 24 hours under it's belt! I don't know yet, but it might be even longer if not using the bluetooth, which would be a bonus. The long battery life obviously comes from it's secondary (or primary, depending how you look at it) function as battery bank. The battery bank function is also I a bonus that I may or may not need, but it makes for awesome uninterrupted play time.Some of the other features that have be in ecstasy over this buy include:1) Simple, yet sturdy control functions2) Lightweight and smooth design3) Impressive volume and sound quality, even though other reviews got me thinking it might be too quiet (Impressive for my needs, anyway)4) Fantastic price!!!!5) Speedy delivery :) Even though I'm all the way over here in New Zealand, the package arrived 11 days earlier than expected!!!Really happy with this product so far.

I mainly wanted a battery bank and thought it was a bonus to also have a speaker. So my expectations were pretty low. Sound is amazing for such a small speaker. Feels good to hold. I wish it had even greater capacity but I'm not sure I would want a bigger size. It even came with a travel pouch which was a nice surprise. This is now a core item I will keep in my travel bag.I haven't tried using an SD card but Bluetooth pairing was easy with no need for a password. Not sure if this is waterproof but there ports have silicone cover so at least it doesn't gather dust in my bag.I've been streaming my favorite playlist for 6 hours and battery is still at 75%!Awesome product.

Product feels good and looks good overall. Packaging it comes in is nice. Love the idea of a battery and speak in one. Only problem is unless your in a quiet place the volume of the speaker is not loud enough. I work at a grocery store and overnight we have music playing, and it really is no that loud. This speaker still is not loud enough to outplay it. A nice product for someone, but for me it's going to be put in a drawer and saved for another use one day.

The speaker looks and feels good. The sound is plenty for my purposes. Linked to my Motorola phone quickly and easily. The buttons/functions are pretty easy to figure out. I did glance at the directions a couple times. The downside for me is that the blue tooth range is about 1-2 feet. Anything that blocks a clear line of sight between the phone and the speaker make it lose signal and the music cuts out. I'll be returning mine.

I bought this speaker on August 10 and about three weeks later, the Bluetooth connectivity stopped working. I could not get the speaker to be seen by any of my devices...iPhone, iPad, Android phone, and PC.My other complaint with this item is that the unit I got would not maintain Bluetooth connection with my phone (when it worked) while plugged in and charging.I have used many other Bluetooth speakers that are much better than this one.

Worked just fine, until it broke. Sounded alright for what it is. The play time lasted long enough for what I used it for, 2 to 4 hour bricks, about 4 uses between charges. Then it broke, speaker stopped working. Now its just a spare battery bank that looks like a speaker. Lasted about two months with regular use. Now I have a JBL Clip2, going to see how long that lasts.

This item is so nice and compact, and yet a powerful little device. I can listen to music for more than two days at work before I need to re-charge. Haven't used it to it's full potential yet, but am enjoying using it all the same. I have also used it in my vehicle to listen to music and that was good too.

somehow i guessed riverfi to mean some kind of water resistance...i was wrong. lol otherwise a solid speaker and power bank.
