Vari-Crafts Mixed Seed 3 Gal W/ O Cage W/ O Pole

This is the third Vari-Crafts feeder I have gotten having been quite satisfied with previous models. this is the first one without a screen so as to allow some doves/larger birds to feed. Lower pan is somewhat small and this makes it a little difficult for them to land and feed, sometimes I observe them fall off the edge if they lose balance. This is okay by me . the smaller birds can feed at upper perches even if a dove or two is there. The large volume is very nice. I had a supposed 8 pound capacity feeder where I put this one. The 8 lb feeder would have to be refilled daily , this seems to be lasting 3 - 4 days. The screened ones probably last 10 days. The screened ones I have had for 2 years and are holding up very well, look to have them for quite a number of years more. Quality construction , easy to fill and clean. Recommend highly, worth the money.
