This brush is amazing. It collects all of the underhair of our dog. He loves being brushed, and we get rid of so much unwanted hair.

It’s great but gets clogged up with dirt after a while if you dog likes to be a dirty dog. Cheap enough to replace twice a year.

I’ll admit, the moment I opened it and looked at it I was like “what is this” it was just so blocky looking. I immediately then realized I had to push the button for the bristles to come out, I didn’t see the pins either till I took a closer look. I started brushing my dog and it didn’t seem like it was doing anything...boy was I wrong! It detangled the heck out my dogs hair (He’s a maltipoo for reference). This is effortless and not painful for him. I brush him everyday so this is great because the bristles won’t irritate the skin! Total game changer, I also notice his hair is somewhat softer because the brush gets the knots even at the skin, he also doesn’t pull his front legs away from me because of pain, nor does he mind when I brush his ears, I just love it so much. It’s a TAD awkward to hold lol especially because he’s small but nonetheless the performance is what actually matters to me. Please push away any possible doubts for this brush, it’s totally worth it. Oh and the fact it’s retractable is a huge plus because now there’s no need to pluck/comb out the hair, meaning you can’t poke yourself OR accidentally bend/break the bristles.

This brush worked great on my dog with fine hair. The release button worked well and the brush was easy to clean.

Not sure who loves this more, me or my two 55 pound dogs! One is a border collie mix and the other a german shepherd mix, so two very different types of coat. They are not usually fully cooperative when I brush them but this time, they stood still and moved around for me to brush where they wanted to be brushed! It must feel really good on their skin, and it could be because the bristles are close together and short, so no poking their skin. It made brushing really quick and easy for me - less than 5 minutes to brush both dogs and I got more hair off them than I usually do with a Furminator followed by a bristle brush. And no flyaway hair, it is all trapped in the brush. Love, love, love this thing...wish I had tried it sooner, like years ago! I'm ordering a couple more to have one in our travel trailer and an extra.

Pros:- easy to operate- pushes the hair away decently.Cons:- bristles too short for my dad's Pyrenees, arguably too short for a medium-length coat either like my Akita- bristles so short in fact, that it's barely brushing.- the release button does not have the spring attached or something because it rattles the whole time it's depressed.

This was a gift for my brother-in-law who has two new BIG dogs that shed a lot. He brushes both, and had no issues with the big girls long hair (95 lbs), but the little guy (75 lbs) had medium long hair that was a challenge. This brush has saved them! It brushes his hair beautifully, pulling out the sheds and cleaning up beautifully with the push button! My BIL is pretty hard to please, but I hit a home run with this brush! It doesn’t work as well on the long haired girl, but it’s perfect on the medium long hair. Get it. You won’t regret it.

This slick brush does not require strong hands. The bristles have rubber tips and tuck inside for easy traveling. I take it to the dog park daily to brush all the random dogs. It literally brings me joy. So easy to use and clean.
