EXTREMELY Small loops, not practical for everyday use
This product attaches to the wall by 4 sticky hooks, and then loops on the screens hang on the hooks. The loops are MICROSCOPIC. Passing through this gate repeatedly is extremely fiddly, and impractical because of this. We got two sets, and it was only a matter of hours before one of them just fell off the wall because the sticky hooks didn't stick. The material isn't stiff or rigid at all, and it was only a day or so, before our two French bulldogs figured out how to squeeze underneath them, which was the whole reason for installing them in the first place. Now, I know you're thinking, well, just change the placement of the hooks, and make it more taught. Great in theory, until you want to pass through, go to place it back on it's hooks, and it pulls them off the wall. Not worth it. Returning.

Nice for smaller animals
I like the idea of this product but I dont believe it is great for having larger animals. I have 2 large dogs that could easily plow through this if wanted. It's not as good of materials as I thought it would be but it works for what I need it to do and is just to block a doorway on my deck so my dogs dont go wandering off if I'm not watching.I would recommend for smaller animals.

Don't waste your time
Got this so I wouldn't have to worry about my dog running off in the woods while I relax on the deck. The instal was easy. Unfortunately the hooks are just like command strips. So within 3 days, one of them went missing. We replaced all hooks with nails but shortly after, the inserts popped.

Badly made and fell apart
It fell apart after only a few weeks of use. The elastic loops frayed and completely came apart from the screen. The loops were so small and hard to get on and off the hooks. The hooks are not wall friendly either. Made a hole in my wall when I removed it. It did work at keeping my kittens inside, and allowed my mama cat to come and go as she pleased when I had the door open. The extending metal poles are made cheaply, and why they are different sizes is beyond me? The poles collapse (would be nice if they locked in place), and are pretty useless, but do keep the screen "sort of" upright . I think this item is way overpriced for what it is. Especially for how cheaply its made. The sewing was very badly done as well as not finished off with a back stitch. So it unraveled too.

Not the greatest.
So I’m 3 days in and purchased three of them.1. Super easy to install- however the hooks don’t like to stick to really anything2. If you pull it too tight then you can’t hook and unhook, but leaving them loose they slip off their hooks.3. One of the straps already broke on one of them. This is one one that goes up in front of my daughters room to keep the dog out at night. So it goes up once at night and comes down in the morning.I really wanted to like them, but it was really just a waste of money. You get what you pay for I guess

Not worth it!
The fabric is flimsy, I only received 1 bar and 4 adhesive “hooks”. The fabric doesnt stay on the hooks, the dimensions don’t fit standard door frames. This was a waste of $14 and I wish I would have read more reviews and reconsidered before ordering. Will no longer be making orders thru Amazon, as they’ve relied on cheaply made products with missing pieces. This site and this produ t aren’t worth my time and money.

Effective With Modifications
This barrier is flimsy, even when pulled as tight as possible. You can see from the attached photo that even when stretched the top still sags.I placed it on the stairs to keep our puppy from wandering off to use the bathroom in the house. After reading several reviews I chose to use 3M Command Strips (available here on Amazon, at Home Depot, Target, Walmart, etc. See photo) instead of the self-adhesive on the hooks to prevent damage to the walls when we remove after he’s completely house broken. The barrier itself wasn’t wide enough to fit at the bottom of the stairs so I had to place it at the fourth step where the stairwell narrows. Because the bottom placement is narrower than the top I wasn’t able to use the hooks at the bottom (see photo) so I left it loose but pushed it up against the step hoping that the presentation of not being able to get under was enough to fool him. It wasn’t.When coming from upstairs, he quickly figured out after some investigation that he could easily go under. To remedy that issue I used industrial Velcro strips that I already had on hand (purchased at Home Depot) to secure the bottom of the barrier to the step (see photo). This provides the security needed to prevent him from slipping under from either side.So far so good and we’ll see if this will hold up during the duration of our house breaking phase.I don’t think this is the best solution for long term use because it just isn’t sturdy enough, and as others have noted, pets are smart and can easily figure out how to breach the barrier. With the modifications I made it will suit our temporary needs and won’t damage our walls or step like a more semi-permanent barrier/gate would.

Senior Kitty
I have a 21 year old male kitty who is forgetting where his litter box is. I have moved all his stuff to the bathroom. This works very well across the bathroom doorway. He can still see out and see what's going on. He does not try to jump over or crawl under it. He seems content with his new relocation. Smaller and he can find his food and litter box very easy. When I am home and can keep an eye on him, I let him out to walk around and get lovins from his Mama. I am not sure how well this would work for a pet that is still very active and curious. But, with my senior baby boy, it is working great!
