I have not used dairy in coffee for three years and prior to trying this product I had settled on using hazelnut milk as giving the best combination of taste and froth. This product wins hands down for me on both taste and froth. I couldn't find it at my regular supermarkets so opted for an Amazon subscription. (So compared to other similar products, an even lower carbon footprint for me.)It is a mixture of pea milk and oat milk, and tastes like it, which I don't mind.It has a light brown colour, which I didn't find off putting. Similar to oat milks it won't turn your tea/coffee as pale as milk would, so don't judge how much to add by colour!The BIG thing I don't like about the Barista version I bought, and the reason I am only giving 3 stars, is that it doesn't froth. It says it should, but it just doesn't. Doesn't matter what temperature or how long you froth it for, it can't hold a single bubble (my frother works fine on other non-dairy barista milk substitutes). I can't understand why you would take a product to market which so clearly doesn't do what you claim it will (gives eyebrow raised shrug).So essentially you are paying more for a pea/oat milk blend than if you just bought a non-barista version.
