NDIA'S ANCIENT PAST BY R.S. SHARMA 📚🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠🟠⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪⚪🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢The thought of genesis of India always triggered me and neither movies nor tv showscompletely answered my questions. So I picked up this book “India’s Ancient past” to get theclear picture of India without any Partiality in work.✨This book starts in the right order i.e. From Harappa times till medieval history and each phaseis described with its Rise, fall and how was the political and economic order was at that time.✨Do you know? The word HINDU is derived from Sanskrit word SINDHU and in Iran the use*H* in place of *S *so it eventually became HINDU and then HINDUSTAN.✨It covers topic like Aryan race, Various Invasions, the inception of religion, detailed explanationof each and every Dynasty.✨This Book basically breaks the myth about India that the world had formed earlier.India hascontributed to Religion, Philosophical systems, Craft and technology, Polity, Science andMathematics and may more.✨I mean we have Aryabhata in AD 476-500 who formulated the area the triangle how come EIC(East India Comp.) claimed that they educated us or they civilized us?✨This book is totally an eye-opener but the way it is written feels like NCERT book so if you aregenuinely interested in History then it’s a must-read otherwise you’ll leave this one in middle for

Please avoid this book... Marxist propaganda dressed-up as history
At first glance, RS Sharma's work on history may not seem as glaringly terrible as Romila Thapar's or Irfan Habib's, but it is just as terrible.Sharma starts off by laying out his vision of ancient India, which are mostly rehashing of Western propaganda used to rationalize the atrocities of colonization and oppression. On occasion he tries to hide this propaganda by giving it an Indian flavour and mixing it in with Indian culture. For instance he looks to justify his Marxist rationale to divide Indian people and deny/erase several millennia of long-standing culture by distorting ancient texts and giving it a warped interpretation. He also creates several theories of false equivalency among religions of Christianity + Islam, both of which were born in a violent atmosphere and used violence as an instrument to conquer and enslave other cultures, and draws parallels with certain Indian rulers. Throughout the book Sharma uses the formulaic approach of "blaming Brahmins" and other "upper castes"; no different from the racist tropes peddled by his fellow Marxist comrades and tries to convey to the reader an idea that perhaps the barbaric violence inflicted by the line of Taimur, Khilji and their line of Mughal invaders wasn't so bad for an already "backward" society. Please avoid this book.Far more objective accounts of history have been documented by: Meenakshi Jain, Sita Ram Goel, Koenraad Elst, KK Mohammed, KM Munshi, Ram Swarup among others. Perhaps the most informative one is by RC Majumdar.

Idea to know ourselves and the origin
This book is a compilation of various other sources I a very decent way. Not just for competitive preparations but also for knowing our origins. Overall growth of culture and civilisation in India. I would definitely recommend readers to know the strong base of thyself and read the book, not for the purpose of exams and competition but for the purpose of understanding and adaptation of learnings from the past. Quoting- “learn from the past, live in the present, plan for the future.” So, do it. Today! Thanks Kindle for providing such a great platform.
