Fair, to good. The legs are a bit sketchy with my larger size (I occasionally and clumsy and have to reset a leg), but its very nicely done even classy. Looks great with my cushion and yoga blocks. Quality 5 functionality 4. Thanks

This is a beautiful piece. Finish is excellent. Creative magnet system works well. Light, easy to transport. I am 6'2 and not very flexible. Height of bench works fine. I do find the valour and foam is quite hot after 30 minutes.

I purchased my Black Dragon bench over a year ago and am delighted with the design and functionality of the meditation apparatus. I have used the bench daily for meditation practice for more than 18 months and report that it meets my physical meditation needs perfectly. After trial and error with other seating cushions and devices, the kneeling or "seiza" position is best for me. The Black Dragon bench accommodates seiza with exceptional comfort but can be adjusted to serve either as low cushion or higher cushion in a cross-legged or zafu cushion configuration. With constant use, the padded seat is showing wear (as expected) but not unduly and without compromising the functional capacity of the bench. In time the padding will wear out and need to be replaced, but not prematurely or reflective or poor craftsmanship (I hope Black Dragon is still in business when I need to replace it!). The bench is easy to adjust for preferred meditation position. It packs flat for transportation. Unlike reviews that report weakness with the magnet-based system of seating configuration, I have never experienced compromise in the stability or sturdiness of the design. I recommend the Black Dragon bench to anyone looking for a "multi-tool" device accommodating meditation practice.

Extremely innovative design. The design pleases me no end.I sometimes pop a leg off when shifting my position, but that doesn't really bother me.

What a beautifully crafted seat! It's like having three seats in one, and the magnets make the adjustments to it quick and easy. I will be regularly using two of the three heights myself, just to change things up. The quality is high and the pad very comfortable. For me, my sitting position makes a huge difference in the quality of my meditation practice. With this seat I could sit perfectly aligned for hours and not get tired. This is going to be my go-to gift for people I care about, and who I want to support (literally) in their meditation practice.

This is one of the best meditation benches I have ever used I have had it a few years now and I am still telling people about it. It makes sitting in rock pose so much easier on my knees. That was one position that was never available to me before because of pain the slight boost of the second position is enough to make all the difference to me. It is comfortable to use in each position and sturdy handling travel and frequent use with ease

This provides an excellent seat for seated meditation. Only 4 stars because the legs are a little fussy.

I purchased this in an attempt to sit at the computer in an alternative position - an odd choice, yes. Anyway, I ended up using this to kneel upon at the computer, and it works well. I don't want poor circulation, especially in my legs; so, I like to change positions.
