After trying several carpet treads that curled up at the edges and created a worse tripping hazard than the slippery wood, these finally worked. Thay lay flat. They have some grip. But I put one tack in each side. Nice and thick and soft too. Seem to pretty durable so far. Hard to find quality treads at a decent price, but I would recommend these.

I was very impressed with the quality and thickness of the rug. The grip on the back is enough to stay put and not move when walking up and down the steps. I was able to clean them with the vacuum easy enough as well. Very happy with these rugs as I have received many compliments on them already!

I wanted to add traction to our hardwood stairs for our senior cat who's been slipping more. We've been putting off getting some because we worried they wouldn't look good, or worse, that they would slip even more. Well these not only look great, but stay put with NO tape! They're plush and comfy on bare feet, and I haven't heard my cat slip or stumble since I put them down! My only complaint is that they are slightly wonky, not a perfect rectangle. But I don't care, I got 14 treads for a great price and my cat is safer!

I'll be honest: I bought these for my dog. I really didn't want to buy stair treads but my dog slipped and fell from the top of the staircase to the bottom and so I need a fix asap. I was a bit skeptical about the quality and about the tape actually sticking to my hardwood stairs, but I really didn't need to be. The treads themselves look and feel well-made and the tape so far (it's been a week) has not been an issue (also there is plenty so you can put a lot on each tread.) It took me a total of 45 minutes to put them down but only because it took me forever to peel the back off the tape for each tread. It was so simple to do and now my dog is much, much better on the stairs.

We’ve had these over a year! Great quality and they hold up in the washer too. 10/10 would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. These turned out to be great! Originally purchased because our Corgi was having trouble going up and down the stairs. I purchased carpet tape thinking they would need to be taped down. However, the tape was completely unnecessary! They stay put without tape on our wood stairs. I was worried because they come rolled up but they flattened easily. They are easy to remove and clean! Like the size, no funky smell, and great cushy feel.

I have been trying to find stair treads to fit my stairs for quite a while. This is my fourth set. My only issue with these is it doesn’t cover the whole stair. I would like the whole stair to be covered. I only found one that did this, but they fell apart fast, this doesn’t seem like 28 inches. It should’ve covered my whole stair it’s short it’s more like 26 a little disappointing but other than that I like them a lot I don’t think they’ll fall apart like all the other ones do or will cause tripping I did put carpet tape down underneath it just to be safe. being older if I were to fall down the stairs I would probably bust a hip. I think these are much better quality and will stop that from happening.

These adhesive stair treads do not slip or move when my happy dog goes up the stairs without his paws sliding to the side. My mom is now buying them too!
