OmegaShaving Brush # 90065 Syntex 100% Synthetic Green

Been shaving daily since I joined Army 45 years ago and have used badger and hog bristle brushes. I decided to try a synthetic this time and love it! Great lather and it drys so much faster. Plus you don’t have to support the killing of badgers so you can be cool and impress you shaving buddies with your fancy badger brush.

I thought I would try this product because of the price and the good reviews. I found that when the bristles are wet, the whole knot tends to stick together, even when using a brushing motion. Also, it didn't pick up my shave soap like the badger brush does. The lather seemed to slide off before I even got it to my face. lastly, the knot...Once heated, it wiggled in the handle a bit. Upon cooling, it seemed to have set again, but this is an issue as most tend to shave with warm / hot water.

I had a bad shave with this it was to coarse and kind of nasty , I have faith in omega will use again , still there must be better brush ,if you like a brush that is like needles you will get it

Works great right from the start, almost holds to much water so I had to adjust my routine. I face lather and it puts the product on just fine.

I like a stiffer brush, which this is. Works up a great with minimal break in period. I guess some call it seasoning. It's good.

It works nicely especially with shave cream from a tube (Nivea for sensitive skin) to give a good, protective lather for a double edge blade. It works well with shave soaps too as long as I use distilled water (local tap water is very hard) and spend some time in preparation. I use it regularly. I also like that it's animal friendly.
