Mat Board Center, 10 Pack 16x20 Black Uncut Mat Boards/Backing Matt Boards for Crafts, Frames, Photos and More

The matting board was of excellent quality but because I have a double picture frame with one picture in portrait and the other in landscape I would have preferred to at least have had two sheets of the blue rather than one sheet of a number of different colors. I ended up having to buy another piece anyway which turned out was large enough for the whole thing. I did not realize when I purchased it they would only be one sheet of blue since my search was specifically for blue uncut board. It's very easy to make a mistake cutting a board and with that package you have to buy a whole new package.. instead I opted out for a piece of board from Walmart here's what I was trying to avoid in the first place.

Good quality and decent selection of colors - tho I would have preferred more navy/blue and less yellowish. One corner on all mats got crushed. Damage extends 5/16" along the two sides (see pic). These still work for me, but would not for some purposes. Seller needs to rethink packaging and add protection at the corners (as is typically done when shipping frames with foam corner protectors).

These are a great price and quality. My husband has bought more of these since, in different color.

I think these should just be called "Poster Boards" not Matt Boards. They are thin, probably 1ply or 2ply at the most. Normal Matt board is usually 4ply, with a nicer front side that has slight texture. These boards are smooth on both sides, not really that nice of an appearance as a "matt board", so the name is inaccurate.They were packed well, and protected edges and all that. I guess I should have read the description very carefully, and doubted each word! Like the description of a house for sale, if it says "charming" it means the place is too small! But they would make a nice sign, or crafting something or other. Just not a very nice board for actual picture matting, which is what I had wanted.Edit: After cutting one of these boards to use as a matt for a picture, I thought that they are worth the price I paid, to have them cut and delivered nicely. They are only 1 or 2 ply though, which isn't clear in the description or i missed it...I'm used to working with the 'normal' thickness I think it's 4ply? For a higher quality matt board, these are not that! But to show what something looks like with a decent matt/frame, they're alright. Just not a high quality matt board would be. So now you know!

These were perfect and arrived with a lot of protection in the box to prevent damage. However, mine were still damaged in a corner likely due to a package handler dropping it by accident. It was not severe enough that I felt like I needed to return them and have been trying to find ways to smooth it out.Otherwise, these are a very nice material and are perfectly cut on the edges, and are very high quality. I am using them for my graphic design portfolio. They are black on both sides
