This listing includes one half dozen coturnix quail eggs have been dyed in a variety of soft to vibrant pink, green, blue, teal, and purple shades to bring some color into an Easter or home display. They have been glazed with a glossy plastic coating for depth of color and to add durability to the eggshell. This is not polyurethane or spray gloss, but a much thicker coating that is applied by hand. Also included at no charge is a beautiful tin, made in England, and labeled with our NakedEggs logo and topped with a twine and a hand tag with our name. It is filled with paper grass to cuddle our NakedEggies until they make it to their new home with you!.............***** You can also purchase a handmade nest which you can add to your order as a special customization. Nests are handmade with natural fibers such as sisal, coconut fiber, grasses, feathers, wool, cotton, leaves. They are woven together to create a natural display for our NakedEggies. These eggs come from backyard breeders and are past prime for eating or hatching. The shells are emptied, washed inside and out, sanitized with vinegar, hot water and soap. No harsh chemicals are ever used.
