As others have stated, this transformer has a pretty loud hum to it. Make sure it's mounted well away from any place you want to enjoy peace and quiet. I have also had a problem with it tripping the breaker when it turns on every once in a while. Have Kichler transformers everywhere else and they are dead silent and reliable. This is absolutely an item where "you get what you pay for" holds true.

For so much room to grow its great but unfortunate the only available outlet is on the front porch so the hum is very noticeable. May have to add a fountain to my garden to cover the noise.

Yeah, agree with one of the other reviewers. Happy with the power supply but wish it was a bit more quiet. Make sure you mount it where the hum won't be an annoyance.

Turns out it can only be installed outside. Pops the breaker every time it turns on. Had an electrician take a look - it isn't the breaker. Amazon took the return without any delay - presume that means lots of returns.
