Awesome picks
My go to picks for guitar and bass. The grip is fantastic, almost like sandpaper.

Buy these, or suffer the dreaded Black Hole of No Return.
Sick of dropping your pick, only to watch as it teleports to another plane of existence? Tired of buying new clothes dryers because they keep getting clogged with picks? Are you fed up with trips to the hospital to get your hand surgically removed from the soundhole on your acoustic? Well friend, you have come to the right place!I believe Snarling Dogs Brain Picks are made by dark elves and Tolkeineske dwarves deep underground in gem-encrusted, crystal-lined caves, from the finest dragon-hide in all of Asgard.Upon opening the Snarling Dog tin, (which can be used later to keep your ... uh ... favorite spices and other things of significant value that fit in a cool looking little tin... ) and remove one of these plectrums of increased shredding, it will make a permanent and lasting bond with your soul and a solid electromechanical weld with your fingers, making them impossible to drop, until you ask it to, in auld Norse.Seriously... You will never go back. Once you use a Snarling Dogs Brain Guitar Pick, all others will seem weak and inferior by comparison. You will be permanently ruined for all other picks and you will inevitably become a pick snob, but it is so totally worth it.

These have become my favorite
These are the best nylon picks I have ever used. They play easier and SOUND better than other picks. I believe this is because these nylon picks have a glossy finish in the non 'grippy' area. This gloss creates less friction between the pick and the string resulting in less pick noise - and lower scrape resistance in the part of your pick stroke before the pick releases the string. The result is smoother, quieter picking - while exerting less energy. Brilliant.

LOVE these guitar picks
The orange Snarling Dogs Brain pick is is the ONLY pick I use. They have a rough grip that allows you to keep hold of your pick. The other end is smooth and makes playing a breeze.Had someone the other day hand me a guitar and wanted me to join in pickin' and singin'. I didn't have my orange Brain picks with me, they said, "Oh, here is a pick you will just love, it is a Blue Chip."I know, I know, Blue Chips are supposed to be the best (if the $$ price $$ equals quality); however, right in the middle of the song the Blue Chip flew right out of my fingers. That has never happened with my Snarling Dogs Brain Picks.I used to buy Brain Picks at the music store for $1.50 each pick (no fancy tin) . First time I found them on Amazon Nov. 2011 they were $4.19-no shipping. I bought 2 dozen and should have purchased 10 dozen. When I let someone borrow my pick then they ask to keep it, so I have to keep a good supply. I Love the tin container, too. So handy to keep it in my guitar case.On July 17, 2013, I paid $6.57 for 12 Piece, Collectible Tin.

Decent enough
The thickness just right for me.Colour... Well you're not gonna lose it !Grip very good as most of the surface covered with "pimples". The type of plastic seems a little cheap and shiny compared to jim Dunlop picks and the attack edge of the pick didn't seem to be finished as well, but in playing it performs good, so I guess that's all that matters.

OK pick
Bought these as I used to use these picks. Bit disappointed by the finish. Had to file one edge as had a sharp point

So nice, I bought them twice.
These 1.14 dogs are now my guitar picks of choice, so much so that I reordered once I ran out. It's all about personal preference (of course), but for my taste these are great strong picks with a nice orange colour to help you find when the bounce out of your hand on a darkly lit stage. Excellent. 5/5
