A Newbies Guide to Play Station 3 (PS3) Paperback – October 27, 2012

Although this short (I think only 58 pages) it was helpful. I am new to gaming the basics are covered. My only criticism is I would have liked more detail.I you have any experience, this is not the book for you, as the title implies.

I upgraded from an N64 to a PS3 purely so I could relearn the guitar with Rocksmith. This worked out really well as it was pretty much plug and play but left me feeling there must be unused potential in the PS3. I did not find te online help with the PS3 all that helpful for me as it presuposes a familiarity with modern games consoles (it focuses on what happens on selecting button Y and not if you want to do X then select button Y.)This guide talks you through doing a few things that as a Newbie you woldnt know were available. At just under £2 for the Kindle edition it was good value and gave me an evenings worth of exploration.
