Simple design hair fork made with thick 10 gauge solid jewelers brass wire and designed to be functional and decorative by securely holding up your hair in a bun or twist. The tips have been filed to a smooth point for ease of use and paddled out for flair. The metal and decorative hammering have been smoothed, tumbled, and hand polished to ensure there are no burs to damage or pull on your hair. Pictured is polished brass. Standard fork measures 5 inches. Fork has a width of 7/8" at the widest point. Great hair fork
I ordered the silver finish 5" version. The hammered look is a nice texture. Only the front facing portion is hammered - the back side is smooth (a positive in my opinion). The curve is gentle and peaks more toward the loop of the fork, off center. There is a good bit of flex while maintaining strength. This is my favorite hair fork. It glides smoothly through the hair and holds firm. I can work it out of a tight bun without fear of breaking it, unlike with wood or horn forks. It's extremely light so it doesn't pull on the style.My hair is bra strap length tapered significantly from the shoulders. A tight bun is probably the size of a medium/large apple. Thusly the ends of this fork protrude pretty far out of a standard bun. If that's not your thing then order a shorter size. I typically wear this fork with more complicated styles that lie flat against the head and spread the hair out, in which case the longer ends work advantageously to clamp the hair against my head. I have been complimented on this fork. Looks pretty against dark hair.I believe this item is made to order so it takes a little time to ship. Worth it.

Simple and made exactly as described
So I ordered one that was a bit too long, which is my own issue. I have very long hair that I often put up, but probably not in the way such a long pin is intended for. The metal is VERY soft though which actually is a plus. I just formed it a bit to a shape that was useful to me and now it is both decorative and functional in my hair. The soft metal doesn't weigh a lot which is a big issue with hair because a lot of weight can get painful. Overall I am very happy with the pin, but would let people know that a smaller pin might be better if you have very long but straight and silky hair as opposed to thick and wavy hair, and that the metal if ordered as pure metal will be very soft and bendable. I find this very useful personally, but others might not.

Beautifully Crafted
I got this today and its just lovely. I will say though that I thought there were 3 in the pack based on the pictures. I went back and read the description and it definitely makes it clear that its just one, but wanted to put that out there for anyone else who might have missed it. That said, 3 for $15 wouldn't have done justice to her work, so while it wasn't what I expected, I'm still really pleased.

This hair fork is beautiful! I have it in both a 4" and 5", and prefer the 5" as it shows off a bit more of fork. This is one of my favorite hair accessories.
