Sandisk Z400s 128GB M.2 2280 SSD (SD8SNAT-128G-1122)

Great product for a great price. Really helped the speed of my desktop build.

Used this SSD to add a little life to an aging Lenovo Yoga 2 13 - worked perfectly. Installation was a snap, cloned the OS partition to the new drive and gained a noticeable performance increase.

Bought it to upgrade my HP Pavilion X2 which came with only 64GB. Wow! What a difference. This is significantly faster than the original and now I have room to actually store files on my hard dive. Installation was easy. I found instructions on HP's web site for opening the case. Then it was just one screw to remove the old drive and plug this one in.

As with any new storage device, i perform a format, but first I normallly do a scan and view of any preinstalled software on it. When i connected this to an external enclosure to perform the tasks, i noticed there is only 83Gb free of 118Gb, I explored the drive to notice there has already been an OS installed. the full complement of " Windows, Program Files, Users, etc..." folders on the drive... seem I have received a used drive...

Awesome Hard Drive at an Awesome price. All we've installed are working flawlessly so far. You can't really go wrong with SSD's for the performance, just make sure you have good backups, because unlike the old HDD's, when you have a failure, it can be very permanent with no chance to recover anything from the drive.

Works well, super fast boot times. Installs directly onto the motherboard, no cables needed.

The main reason I purchased this over other M.2 drives is because of the black color indicated in both the picture and description but to my surprise its blue.
