Wheels are 1-1/8" wide and 2-13/16" in diameter. The bolt holes in the mounting plate are 2-1/2" center to center.

Q: what is the widest drum size it will hold?

I have lifted a 35 gallon drum horizontally (by the top and bottom flanges), and they are 34" tall.

Q: I am wondering about static, would these wheels prevent grounding and encourage static?

If you are concerned about static, I would attach a grounding strap to one of the bolts holding the wheels of the dolly
