BrooksWomen's Addiction Walker 2 Walking Shoe

The shoe seems very well made, no complaints here. I had read that the shoes run true to size, I almost always wear a size 7, so that's what I ordered. It was so snug my feet felt cramped and I couldn't keep them on for more than ten minutes, I knew they were too small to hope they stretch out. So I ordered half size larger and will review when they arrive. They look like an orthopedic shoe, not particularly stylish, but comfort wins out in this case. The shoe had good support where I needed it, arch and heel and I feel with the right size they may work. Who cares if they are on the homely side, if my feet feel good. I can live with that. The shoe does not feel as heavy as it looks. They are made to support and that would account for the look, imo.

Most reviews I read talk about the shoes running narrow. I have a narrow heal so these fit perfectly for me. They are comfortable and appear to be slip resistant. Having just purchased them this spring, I haven't had occasion to wear them on ice and snow but they don't slip when the floor is wet. The arch support is just what I need. My only reason for giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are warm. Being entirely leather, they do not breath as well as the other Brooks walking shoes that I have. They should be great for this fall and winter, though.

Love the comfort and durability. These are the only shoes I buy.

Been wearing Brooks Addictive for 15 years or so; I order a new pair every year. I started wearing them after breaking an ankle and have found them to be very supportive and provide a firm foundation when walking in comparison to my other athletic shoes.

These shoes have very much support. I stand eight hours a day a my job. My niece who is a nurse told me about them. Luckily they had them in non slip which I had to have. They hardly have any wear after a year.

Arch support is great

Runs large and wide and is too tall at back. I normally wear 7-1/2 in Brooks running shoes, but this shoe is way bigger overall.

I have fallen in love with these shoes, but I do have one complaint. The toe of the shoe is starting to come apart after only 2 months of wearing the shoes at work.

I love the Brooks range they are brilliant for my Plantar Fasciitis so thought I’d invest in some walking shoes. I’m normally a size 6 UK in all other Brooks trainers so I ordered a size 6 in these and they were much narrower then the trainers so I’ve used some stretch spray so they fit perfectly now. I wear them for work as I’m on my feet all day and they have been brilliant.

My podiatrist recommended them to me because in my job i walk about 8/9 mles every day. They are so comfortable

I was very reluctant to spend so much money on a pair of walking shoes but I have plantar fasciitis and these are recommended for my condition.I'm on my feet at work for up to 10 hours per shift and these have really helped my foot condition I certainly can highly recommend them hoping they will come down in price a bit so I can buy another pair.They're not the most attractive looking shoe quite chunky but certainly the most comfortable pair of shoes I own.Speedy delivery from the UK to Australia from Amazon which was much appreciated

i have problems with my feet if i don't wear the right shoes for me. i will be in agony for a day or two. first day i wore the shoes no pain whatsoever. it really support my feet and i couldn't believe how good they were.

I have quite severe flat feet and these have helped me immensely. I was recommended the brand by a podiatrist. These shoes gave my ankles the support it needed and ensured that my feet felt secure in the shoes. They are a bit clunky and add to my height. But I’m extremely grateful for them, especially because I’m on my feet all the time.
