Soul Score

Fantastic soundtrack & collectors' item; lackluster mastering
This soundtrack is absolutely wonderful and I'm very happy to own it on vinyl. The artwork is presented beautifully and the music itself is superb. The visual condition of the outer and inner sleeves as well as the vinyl itself was pristine when I received my order. The only thing that left me wanting more was the mastering and quality of the vinyl. It's by no means horrible, but at the same time I couldn't help but have higher expectations of a new record. The noise floor is surprisingly high, and the sound is rather flat and at times harsh. In comparison to some records I own which were pressed in the 70s and 80s, they are superior in both sonic quality and depth despite having purchased them second hand and being 40+ years old. I also own quite a few new records released over the past few years and the same sentiment holds true.I was lucky enough to pick this record up at a very good price, thus I'm not all that bothered by the quality; however I'd still only recommend picking this up on vinyl if you're looking to collect or if you can get it for a reasonable price.Note: For reference, I play all my records on an AT-LP120X through JBL Model 4313b studio monitors. This isn't exactly the highest end setup, but I've found it to be good enough to pick up on details such as what I described previously.

Keep These Vinyl Releases Coming Please!
Overall, a fun, but rather unremarkable, addition to my vinyl collectionPros:- Beautiful and Unique album art. (+2)This seriously is a plus! I appreciate that they put time into making the experience of pulling the record out and placing it on the table a meaningful one. This makes me feel like I have a nice piece of PIXAR history in my collection.- Sounds GoodEven though the atmospheric electronic music on the album isn't to my taste, I think the fact that it's on vinyl improves the depth to the sound.- Black Vinyl. (+1)I mean it. I definitely prefer it to the picture discs that they released the "Incredibles" soundtrack on as it makes me feel like it's intended for serious listening as opposed to targeting kids with cheap Victrola or Crosley record players.Cons:- A Rather Unremarkable Soundtrack...Nothing Comparable to a Giacchino, or Newman Score. ( -2)This disappointed me considerably. It's literally a bunch of electronic atmospheric tones, notes running up and down, and repeated chords. There is little to no development of themes throughout the album, making the "songs" feel very disconnected. There's also unfortunately very few themes to develop. While fitting the movie and not being that bad for background or thinking music, most of it is atmospheric crap that, in my opinion, doesn't really stand on it's own apart from the movie.Sad nasal sigh...

PG Rock History
Absolutely stunning work, an ethereal jazz escape. The pressing seamed flawless, the audio is superb.I never knew seeing a NULL # on a Disney album would fill me with such joy. (Only had NULL .5 the quake vinyl till now)Thank you Trent and Atticus for something good out of 2020

Sounds amazing and pressing was in perfect shape
I have been chasing down this vinyl release down for a while, and happy to finally have it in my collection. Amazing soundtrack with the perfect mix of ambient with a sprinkle of Jazz thrown in for great measure.

Think NIN ghosts, but soul. Yeah
Beautiful soundscapes, this is basically a NIN ghosts LP and you cannot change my mind. Make sure you listen with a wide range EQ as there are a lot of layers to the sound.

Good quality vinyl
I was delaying buying this due to a few negative reviews concerning side one skipping. Glad I got it..... good quality heavy vinyl and no issues on my copy. Trent & Atticus in fine form. LP only features their tracks.

Pressung echt schlecht!
