It works.
Tried it out. Put my phone in the bag and called it a couple of times with another phone.... did not ring.Probably should drive around the metro area a bit and try it to be sure. If you don't want "them" (Your boss, Google, websites, various Feds/LE, your current or Ex spouse!... whoever...) tracking you, this will do the job. Just be aware that customers, friends, wife, etc. can't call you when the phone is in the bag. "They" also could not locate you if you were in an accident or incapacitated.... so works both ways.

A great bag to use for your privacy.
I found this product out from a Youtuber called Business Reform. He was able to compare this from others. This one managed to block signals that others couldn't blockPrice is great, compared to the competition. It's great for protection if you want no signals to leave bag. Quality is decent, as long as you don't bend the product to often. From what I've read bending it often causes minor tears over time. Able to fit my phone with some space to spare.

Test it properly with online app.
I was thrilled to get this but figured I'd test it a few times to see if it works. My first test. I connected to a Bluetooth music receiver , I let the music play and then put my phone into this bag. The music stopped. 2nd test.. I had wifi turned off and data turned on, I put phone into bag and sent a text to my phone via pc. No sounds of receiving a text. I took phone out of bag and a few seconds later the text arrived! So far so good. I then turned off data and turned on wifi and repeated the previous test. Worked great! I was going to leave it at that but decided to download the MD Faraday bag testing app. This is kind of contradicting as it makes you let the app have permission to access all aspects of phone including photos. I downloaded it anyway, Started the test, put phone in bag (yes, closed it properly). Waited about 20 seconds and took out the bag. At first this test failed and I jumped the gun and gave a 1 star but I read instructions again. It seems you must take device out of bag and wait about 30 seconds before stopping the test. Each time I did this, it passed with flying colors so it's 5 stars.UPDATE...It's been about 6 weeks of using this bag. It mostly works BUT today I tested it 3 times in a heavy populated area while driving and it failed 3 times. When I got to a less populated area it passed. Shouldn't this either work or not work. Maybe I'm mistaken but I would think it should work when stationary or while driving. Bumping it down a star.

Excellent quality. Blocked calls on phone
I’ve known about Faraday cages for years. Decided to order one to safely transport a new passport through the airport, plus wallet with debit and credit cards and also my cell phone and key fob. Apparently there are chips now in the new passports and in our debit cards and credit cards. I don’t want to risk someone scanning my private information (if they have the right equipment as they walk by me).I tested my cell phone by first calling it while outside the bag and it rang great. Then I slept my cell phone with cellular on and Wi-Fi on and Bluetooth on and tried to call it and text it. It would not even ring on the other phone’s end. And then as soon as I pulled my phone out of the Bag, the call went through and text messages went through. Very satisfied. This is very good quality. I recommend and would order again.

Works
This blocks calling my phone, Bluetooth, and connecting to my watch over WiFi so I guess it's working.

Its construction reminds me of a Tumi style ballistic nylon briefcase
I ordered my first Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones along with another brand that sells multilayer mylar bags in a collection of various sizes which allows them to be placed one inside the other (nested) to build up the protection they offer. Before ordering I noticed that on the Mission Darkness website that they offer an App that one can load onto their phone to actually test the bags efficiency in blocking out the Cellular and Wi-Fi signals; as a means to test the bags ability of blocking energy waveforms that might be part of an ESD or EMP event. Both items arrived on the same day and I proceeded to the Mission Darkness website to download the App for my phone. The Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones is a nice size and I also tested it to see how additional devices might fit; like an external backup hard drive, memory sticks, cryptocurrency hardware wallets, and a handheld ham radio. For me, the items I tested did fit for my purpose which is I want a separate bag for each, backup hard drive in one, ham radio in another, etc. Mission Darkness does offer larger bags but this size works for me.Onto testing, first up the Mission Darkness bag I ordered. After downloading the App, I followed the instructions that has you start the App and let in run for 30-60 seconds first, this allows the App to build up a baseline for testing. Next I placed my phone into the Mission Darkness bag and rolled down the top of the bag and closed it with the Velcro attached to the bag. Following the instructions I left the phone in the bag for a good minute or so and then when time was up I removed the phone from the Mission Darkness bag and observed the results. Just as described by the Mission Darkness website the App showed that Mission Darkness bag completely blocked the Cellular and Wi-Fi signals. I repeated the test a second time to see what would happen if I did not roll down the top of the bag and close it completely; the results showed some blockage of signal but not completely, only about 20-40% was still able to get through to the phone.Up next the other brand of multilayer mylar bags. Using the same instructions and testing procedures for the Mission Darkness App, I started with one mylar bag, started the App as before, placed my phone inside the bag and closed the bag using the built-in Ziplock style closure. Again after waiting a good minute; the App showed no signal blockage. I restarted the test again this time I placed the first bag into a second multilayer mylar bag; the App again showed no signal blockage. Onto the third test, I placed the first two bag into a third bag and started the test; again the App showed no signal blockage. It was not until I tested it the fourth time using four nested mylar bags did the App showed any signal blockage; this time the Wi-Fi signal was completely blocked but only about 60% of the Cellular was blocked.Things I like about the Mission Darkness bag:Its construction reminds me of a Tumi style ballistic nylon briefcase.Ease of use and access for the items one might access frequently or periodically.Only needing one bag, the bag itself to block the signals as demonstrated by their App.Would recommend the Mission Darkness Non-Window Faraday Bag for Phones, for anyone looking to protect not only their phone but other electronics devices like an external backup hard drive, memory sticks, cryptocurrency hardware wallets, and/or a handheld ham radio. For added protection from water, one might want to place their electronics into a Ziplock style plastic bag before placing them into a Mission Darkness bag.
