I am enjoying my Lorex camera. It has a very clear picture. Night vision works well.

Technically, this isn't compatible with my NVR, so the video works but not the microphone. Still, it was an excellent buy for the price, cheaper than the other POE cameras that were intended for my NVR. The lights come on with motion but the video sensor takes about 5-7 seconds to adjust to the increased brightness. When the light turns off, video takes another 5-7 seconds to adjust back. These delays present security risks since the image is too dark or too bringht to be useful during the transition. We put this camera by the front which doubles as a convenience feature since it lights up or front porch when approaching the front door at night. We no longer have to leave the light on when we leave, indicating to passersby that no one is home. This security benefit outweighs concerns over the video delay in switching brightness.

9 cameras were installed on the perimeter of our ranch. Overall vision is great (day and night)! I wanted security cameras that showed the perimeter of our property, as well as our livestock. These cameras meet and exceed my expectations.

Contrary to what I was told by the experts when I ordered this camera, there is nothing that the user can do to disable the deterrent lights. I was going to use this on a roadway, and was concerned about the effects that bright lights from this camera might have on unsuspecting drivers. While the image quality is quite good, and setup is not too difficult, it's disappointing that the engineers who designed this camera didn't think of expanding the functionality to allow the user the option of whether to surprise people with the lights.

Love the lorex line of cameras. I recommend them to folks every chance I get .

One 12 months die. An other 14 months dead too.

At night it automatically turns it lights on when motion is detected. I can also turn the light and siren on through the Lorex app on my phone.Please note the two way only works with only specific Lorex NVRs. At the time I purchased it was supposed to be compatible with the NVR I have - it didn't. Lorex site is now updated after I pointed out the error.

Can not be used, cable not included. paid shipment and will be being paying another shipping fee if I return. Very discouraging. I don't like hazzle. Lost a lot of money on this purchased. Very disappointed! Put in the garbage bin! and forget about it.....
