I have been taking sucralose and stevia as sugar substitutes for a few years now mainly for weight management as well as an early preventive measure for diabetes. I stick to just a few brands as I love how they taste just like sugar but with no aftertaste. I would avoid certain artificial sweeteners as they can have a negative impact on gut health or worse may increase the risk of cancer.This particular Stevia-Erythritol combo has the grainy texture like granulated sugar but to me, it doesn’t taste really sweet. It is supposed to have an equal mix of the two but I feel that it has more Erythritol than Stevia. I usually only need one heaped tablespoon of sucralose or stevia to sweeten my tea (I use a big mug) but with this combo, I find that I need to use more than that to obtain the same level of sweetness.I’m not sure if, after years of taking sucralose and stevia, my taste buds might have become accustomed to a certain level of sweetness and this new sugar alternative combo tastes a little bit less sweet.It doesn’t have any significant aftertaste but it does have a mild cool minty effect, that lingers on for a while, which I don’t like.It might not be as effective in drinks as my favourite sweetener I used, but I have used it baking a chocolate cake, and I think it worked great. The cake came out tasted as good as it would when baked using sucralose or stevia. I guess you will need to experiment with the amount to get it right and that will vary depending on what it’s used for.For the price, since I don’t find it as sweet as my favourite sugar substitutes, I will have to double the amount to have the same level of sweetness, therefore, I will be using more and would make the product more expensive.It’s most likely that I will stick to my favourite brands of sucralose and stevia, and won’t be repurchasing this combo.Thank you for reading. i expected this to leave a detectable taste in food after reading other reviews, but was pleased to find it does not. I usually use half normal sugar and half of this mix and all baked goods taste perfectly normal.

This is similar to the canderel stevia blend I tried not long ago. It's erythritol and stevia. This is finer though and has no odour but instead a cooling feeling on the tongue when tried on the finger tip for a taste.I've used it for baking both spongy type bakes and with oats in the form of a flapjack since these items often contain a lot of sugar and everyone's worried about weight especially these days.The taste was convincing and no nasty smells or taste.So this is recommended for baking and s a sprinkle on cereal since it works well even with blander foods like oats since it has no detectable odour and sprinkles like sugar. But.. the sensation of cooling is a giveaway and detracts from the food and so I prefer the splenda Stevia crunchy blend for cooking.

Was looking to replace my usual stevia and erythritol blend and bought this as an alternative.It's supposed to be used 1 to 1 as normal sugar but even after 3 teaspoons couldn't taste it in my coffee or tea.The nutrition facts say 100% erythritol with no mention of stevia...Very disappointed.
