What does your garden grow?
My specialty is in Early Childhood Education, I am also a mother. My reviews are based on products durability, safety, and how it fosters a child developmentally. My four 4-PIECE SET included a trowel, 2 different types of rakes, and one hand cultivator with 3 claws ( My cultivator was slightly different design then pictured) (see pictures below).I was in the market for gardening tools for my little one.Pros and Noted Drawbacks:- I found most of the tools in this set appropriate for children 5 + years (with adult supervision of course). I would allow everything BUT the 3 claw hand cultivator tool to be used by a child. I would keep the claw tool away from a young children because it's VERY sharp.- Large handles, makes for an easy gasp on the tool, which is important for little hands.- The right size for small landscaping around the home.- Just enough tools to get you started as a gardener.Writing reviews has become a hobby for me, and it is always exciting to know that people find my reviews helpful (and if not, why.) Also, if you have any questions, clarifications, or comments please feel free to leave a comment below. I usually respond pretty quickly and almost always within 48 hours. I received this product free for an unbiased and honest review.

but all the other tools are pretty solid. The three pronged device is quite lethal
Work as expected, the owner even contacted me to confirm they had been received. the aluminum is a bit soft in the spade and heavy use will cause it to bend and will eventually break. putting a wooden dowel into the handle that extends down the back of the spade it's self will help it to stop bending backwards and extend the life, but all the other tools are pretty solid. The three pronged device is quite lethal. It is is good for tearing up the dirt as well as dispatching varmints you find. slightly gruesome, but it gets it done.

An Urban Gardening Dream
UPDATE: love these tools more every day. just came back to add a photo. they're in the wheelbarrow where the cats shred cardboard for the compost pile. used several times, rinsed quickly in the rain barrel, wiped down with my shirt, and they still look new. no jiggles, no bending (except for the mini-rake, when it's supposed to bend). absolutely fabulous.I've been in the process of creating a permaculture garden on my sandbox lot for years, and it's paying off. after carrying and spreading veritable truckloads of wood chips, straw bedding, and manure, one five-gallon bucket at a time, I now have a yard full of bees and butterflies and wildflowers -- and mushrooms! before this process began I planted jasmine vines and night-blooming jasmine bushes along the rear fence. they're doing well, but need to be "transplanted in place" (I'm going to uproot them and do some soil improvements, then replant them).all of my gardening tools were the standard size, so I needed something for small garden jobs. and once again, amazon read my mind. I was asked if I'd like to try this set at a discount, in exchange for an honest review. *would* I?!? you betcha!they arrived and omgoodness they're so pretty. the first thing I love about them is that they are small but substantial. very well constructed, they don't feel "cheap," at all (even though the handles are plastic). and they're so light it's a big surprise the first time you pick them up. that's a very good thing, because a day of repetitive use of even small tools can be tiring.I don't know how the plastic handles are actually attached to the metal parts of the tools, but it seems like nothing could ever break that bond. no matter how you pull or push or twist them, they don't budge. and I don't know if the orange tips were only meant as a design accent, but they too are extremely handy (for more than just the hanger hole). I can set them down in the wilds of my back yard and find them again in an instant!this summer I plan to spread more chips, manure, and straw. come fall, I'll be planting my first vegetable garden in the back, and setting up at least a dozen planters in the front. these will be my go-to tools for the small jobs, and I have small jobs up the wazoo. by the time they're done, this little garden set will have helped me complete a HUGE project. so happy to have them!!!
