Mostly satisfied
First time I used worked fine. The motor is able to spin both ways. If it goes counterclockwise that it will unscrew two-part center rod and whatever you cook will fall to the bottom of your grill.I have put a sticker on mine to remind. Will probably look for a solid center rod long enough.I wish I could mount it higher on the grill, so I could do a bigger chicken or turkey. But if I do the grill cover will not close.

Threaded shaft broke one hour into roasting two chickens
Two chickens are not the weight of the world. But the three-part spit broke at one of the threaded unions. Any other issues? Yes, the motor cord comes out from the bottom of the motor block so it crushes down on one of the stainless wings. The plastic topped on-off button is encumbered by the low position also.I am not sold on rotisseries and I have a 6 burner grill with infrared. The reason is the grid must be removed exposing the stainless gas diverters. You could put a pan down in there to avoid the drips but it would have to rest on the diverters and gas tubes. I like a clean grill and when using the rotisserie you have to coat the stainless grates with aluminum foil or you will have a mess and eventually rusted gas diverters and tubes. So why am I saying that?A rotisserie should be high enough in the firebox to stick up inside the lid. There are a few makers of rotisserie on Amazon that make the motor bracket and the bushing support adjustable. Depends on your grill but my grill is quite large and needs this adjustable feature.Do you need a rotisserie? No. I have found that using large aluminium grill pans with chicken or chicken quarters, marinated overnight delivers the same excellent rotisserie meat preservation as well as glazed BBQ skin. A rotisserie will deliver that glazed BBQ skin to the bottom of the chicken. Also using the pan you do not have to truss the chicken with twine. My opinion only: For a large grill if you insist on the rotisserie option. I would suggest a solid one-piece spit, not a sectional spit. The motor chord should come out of the top or rear side of the motor block. The motor mount and bushing mount should be adjustable by at least 1 to 2 inches. This unit was bought through Amazon used option. The blemish was on the centre shaft extension and looked like someone used a plyer or vice grip to hold it. So very likely they tightened the thread to the point of near fracture. Or it may have come apart while they were roasting in which case they had a bit of an emergency on their hand and overtightened. But a multi-section spit is a bad idea and is generally used to enable cheaper shipping. nothing spells worthless like a spit breaking one hour into grilling two average chickens.

Does not work well with a Weber Spirit II E-310
I would have given it less than two stars, but I'm past the return period. (I didn't use it till today and bought it a while ago.) It mounts clumsily on the unit. As mentioned by others, the motor has to be mounted "upside down" to have the spit at the right level. Even then, you can't close the grill cover, and the three parts of the spit, which screw together, came undone while it was rotating. I will probably try it again. (Right now I am finishing my chicken inside, in the oven.) However, I probably will end up buying the much more expensive Weber unit. I had one of those at a past house, and it worked extremely well. Be willing to pay for something that really works!

Well made, motor installs upside down
Unit and packaging appear to be good quality. Have not cooked with it yet. It appeared that the unit would not work on my new Weber spirit, BUT it’s just that you have to mount the motor with the cord at the top, and labeling upside down. Some people have complained about the spit quality, so I am keeping my old spit.

Does not fit, does not mount correctly
I would have given it less than one stars, but I'm way past the return period. It mounts poorly. You CAN NOT close the grill cover! I used this once. It's back in a box. I since bought the much more expensive Weber parts, it fits and works great. Being cheap means you buy twice! Just pay for something that actually works!
