Good cap for open caulk bottles
I've had one of these from many years ago and was using it mostly to help spread caulk for a nice finish. A few months ago, I had a leftover bottle of caulk and just used this to cap it as it was the most convenient thing I had around. Fast forward to now and I've discovered that bottle of caulk is still good and hasn't dried/hardened up. I was really impressed and order a bunch more for my other bottles of caulk. Highly recommend this if you also have open bottles of caulk that you want to keep.

Love these.
Great for capping tubes of caulk when done. Stays in place. Pays for self just on reducing cost of waste of liquid nails/caulk. The finishing tool is crude but handy cleanup of bead line. Like others say, a wet finger does a nicer job, but for the first pass this is perfect to get rid of excess.
