Worth the buy, just be prepared to go down a size
We would have died a million times over without these shoes in Kuaui. They're super versatile from hiking mountains to snorkeling, I'm typically a 6.5/7 but I ended up needing to size down for both myself (6) and my husband. They aren't the most supportive shoe but the traction was great and they dried super fast, they were great to have because alot of our hikes went through rivers and such then back to steep muddy trails. Plus they look like normal shoes! I was surprised by the splotches of green, orange, and blue on the tread (I just didnt notice it in the picture) but honestly if I lost my husband amongst a crowd snorkeling those shoes were how I found him every time lol.

Comfortable Water Shoes
These water shoes are comfortable in the sea and on land. I recently went to Hawaii and my hotel was about a 10 minute walk to Waikiki beach. I wore these water shoes on the walk to and from the beach and in the water in between. They were still comfortable after getting seawater and sand in them. They were tough enough to protect my feet from sharp rocks in the ocean but not super rigid and hard to take off like other water shoes I’ve tried. The bottom sole is the tough part while to top is a soft breathable fabric. The many color options are also great, setting them apart from other water shoes that you can get at ABC stores in Waikiki. They fit me perfectly and I usually wear wider sizes.I was glad I ordered these for my vacation.

But will they last? (Product quality-6-week review)
I have owned these shoes for 6 weeks now and have been in creeks with them 4-5 days a week for 2-3 hours at a time in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina - Ie Rocky bottomed creeks. How have they held up? To be honest, about as I expected. The number one thing I would say is that these shoes will likely rip or wear holes in the material before they blow out a seam. I was mostly worried about the soles and connection to the material but on the whole, that has not been the issue. The thin fabric is more of a durability issue and wears down quickly with repeated use.But I gave it 4 stars. Why? I didn’t expect these shoes to last more than a summer. If you’re after something that will hold up longer versus the price, look elsewhere. But if the price you’d pay seems worth one season of use, my guess is you’ll get that. I’ve put these shoes to the test hiking up rocky creeks that sometimes involves slipping and rubbing. So I’ve been harder on them than the average user likely will be.Things I like. The feel of them on my feet-They feel form fitting when you first put them on, nice, stretchy material that makes them look a little cheap in the package since they can be sent in small packing given their flexibility and thinness. I like the feeling of being mostly barefoot with some rubber sole protection. These do that well.Sizing-Size seems right In that sense. Firm not loose fit, but not constricting either.Light- it feels close to barefoot in weight.Sole- I do like that the sole is oversized and wraps the edges a bit.Things I could be critical of:Cushion- ok these come with an insert. It has a “little” cushion- but a couple of weeks in, your main contact pressure spots will have flattened that cushion and effectively rendered it cushion less. If you need a softer walking cushion when using these- after market inserts would be needed. But if you’re looking at water shoes, cushion probably isn’t a big deal.Cost versus value- this is what it all comes down to isn’t it? I paid $25 and I will use these hard for 3-5 months. Right now, these have cost me about a $1 a day as I’ve been in the water with them more than 25 times with each time being more than an hour. This really is the one of the only reasons for my 4-star. It’s worth it to me, but I have seen the price go up recently. I don’t know it would be worth it at $30. Maybe. It would definitely be better at $20. The tradeoff here is I could spend more on better quality water shoes from teva, Solomon, etc and get more seasons out of them for sure. But getting 3 seasons for 3 times the price... maybe I get 4 for 3x the price, but still. Again, Each person has to determine that value for themselves. Me, I’m ok with a new pair next season or trying something different. But I could easily understand wanting to pull the old reliable pair out of the closet for another season if one bought a better product.Materials- if the fabric were tougher, this shoe would last a little better for sure, and it would be 5-star for me.To sum it up:I like the feel of these, the fit, it suits my purposes.I didn’t want a hiking boot or even a stiffer water shoe like a teva, Solomon or the like or I’d have bought that.So for me, I.e., the value, these have been worth it. For someone else, their wearing this badly at 6-weeks wouldn’t be. For the average user, I would expect you would get a season of use with only minor wear marks, especially at Sandy beaches. If this review has helped at all, please consider clicking that helpful button. Half size down in womens
Normally a 9 in flats and 9.5 in brooks sneakers. ordered an 8.5 in women’s and it was a good fit for me. boyfriend has a snug fit in brooks GTS sneakers size 12, however he wears a 13 in some brooks sneakers. I ordered a 12 for him based off others reviews Saying size down. I think for women’s you should half size down and In men’s if your guy fluctuates between sizes go with the smaller size. We both have normal width as well. If I ordered any size bigger it would be too much room. The shoes were super comfy and my boyfriend wore his everyday on our beach vacation. Only bought these because some excursions require them. The shoes didn’t rip or tear and my bf did a beach body workout in them as well. If you’re hesitant just buy them. They’re more affordable than some water shoes found in the store plus it’s wintertime here so no one sells water shoes at this time lol! Shipping was fast with prime and the shoes had no crazy smell when they arrived. They dry pretty fast in the sun as well but don’t leave them out too long because they might shrink. I would recommend to a friend

Be careful! Like walking on banana peels in the pool.
The size 37 water shoes arrived promptly. I ordered black and grey with laces with non raised stripes. Fits like a sock. Very exact. If my toenails weren’t cut, they would be catching the lip at the edge when I walk so ordered the next size up and returned these. Good gripping bottom.Next size up came and fit much better. I took them to Mexico but forgot I had them when I did water aerobics. Glad I did because I put them on the next day just to protect my feet from the hot concrete and they felt great but when I got in the resort pool with them it was like walking on banana peels! There was no way I could’ve done water aerobics with those things on. I had to take them off and just use them to walk back to the room. They’re cute and have a thick rubber sole but I specifically bought them for the pool use so I don’t know if I’ll keep them. Is the description accurate? Are these for pool surfaces or concrete and terrain?

Perfect for River Adventures
We bought a few pair of these in different designs for a family trip. We knew we would be going tubing and needed something for foot protection on the river. These were perfect and were way better quality than the ones for sale at the outpost. We were glad to have brought our own along with us.Bottoms are sturdy but flexible and fabric gives protection but stretches for comfort. The drawstring laces make it quick and easy to adjust the fit and get these on & off. Ran them through the washing machine when we returned home and hung to dry. They look brand new - would recommend!
