Easy to put together, looks great, keeps the dog from stealing my bread off the counter! The one downside is that it doesn't fit a pack of Hamburger buns in it bit that is not how it is designed. So into the cupboard with those! Otherwise, my loaves of break are now safe and look great!

Update: the company has reached out to me and is looking to see if what went wrong with my package is an issue with others and if they need to change things. Definitely a company worth shopping with again.I really want to like this. It’s sturdy and holds a good amount of baked goods. But there is a smell that nothing seems to get rid of. I have a container of baking soda in there to help but if left closed ip and empty for longer than a day, the smell is back. It doesn’t seem to affect the items stored so far. Just more of an annoyance.

It’s harvest time, so that means mice are finding their way into the house. Bought this to protect my bread, crackers, and muffins. Can say it’s so pretty and glossy. It fits right in with my kitchen, and is modest in terms of how much space it takes up. Looking forward to seeing if it is Despereaux-proof!

It arrived in the manufacturer's packaging (a snug fitting box with minimal bubble wrap). Surprisingly, I only found a couple of small scratches, and nothing was broken. I immediately noticed how the door and bottom pieces are a COMPLETELY different shade than the rest of the wood. I thought I'd assemble it anyway, just to see what it looked like together. Assembly was very easy. Everything lined up perfectly, and the magnet works well. I think it'll hold together just fine. I would be really happy with it, if all of the wood pieces were the same shade, but this bi-color appearance...

The bread box is perfect for what I needed. It is smaller than most bread boxes, but I have a small kitchen with not much counterspace . It was easy to put together took no time to put it together. I love the bread box and would highly recommend it. Only one complaint, one of the screws was broken, fortunately I had an extra one on hand.
