The only 'thumbs down' aspect of this pot is the price... it's almost 1/2 the cost of a brand new PPC on sale.But the positives do outweigh the cost.It's heavy and pretty (for a pot) - not some thin, easily banged up replacement - you can feel the quality.Meat browns beautifully and you can actually deglaze the pot without fear of adding some of the liner to your meal. It fit perfectly in my 6qt Power Pressure Cooker, and cleaning it was SO easy. This is the second one I've purchased - the first was for my 8qt PPC. I have a feeling that the pots will outlive the cookers!Update: Could not be happier with either the 6 or 8 quart replacement pots. Still look brand new despite many different things being cooked in them. They are solid, fit the pressure cooker perfectly, and are worth every penny.I started learning how to can last summer and needed a large pot to cook the fruits and blanch the veggies before canning. I used the 8qt on my stove top and it worked great. Even heating, no stains, and easy to clean. I'd give an extra star if I could!

I own a 8 qt PPC XL model number PPC780. Everyone who owns a Power Pressure Cooker XL knows the inner pot is not the best. I'm sure they had good intentions on having a teflon coated inner pot but over a period of time it proved to be a mess. I was so happy to find this stainless steel inner pot as a replacement. The day I received it I washed it up and put it to work. I wanted to make sure it was going to seal properly, and come to pressure. As I read a couple of reviews that it did not work in some reviewers 8 qt. I'm happy to say it sure did, and works just fine with my model of PPC XL. I use my PPC daily so I'm a bit OCD on keeping my appliances in good clean working order. This pot is so easy to clean and boy does it shine. It's a quality sturdy pot. It came packed carefully and didn't have a scratch on it. If anyone is on the fence on buying this pot, dont be. It's great! Searing in it is even and quick. Just check your model number order the appropriate size. I'm so glad this company had this inner pot. I'll be purchasing a second inner pot in the future. Just as a FYI I use " Bartenders Friend" soft cleanser to clean the inner pot for deep cleaning and Dawn for daily cleaning.

Other reviews questioned the size and had me worried. I put it beside my old pot and the height was perfect. I turned it upside down on the old pot and the circumference was a perfect match. The bottom of the pan was also a bit heavier. This replacement vomes across as a better quailty pan than the one that came with the pot.I cheered. No more screwed up non stick pan. The old pan can go to the garden.I do miss the indent to support the steam tray but putting a stand in the pot comes close enough for me.I can now use my metal utensils without worry and the surface is nice and smooth for easy cleaning.

I was about to throw out my Power Pressure XL because I couldn't take the nasty inner pot anymore. From day one it was peeling, horrible to clean and I knew I shouldn't be using it because the "non-stick" coating was coming off. I had looked in the past for a replacement and never found one. Thank goodness I kept searching because I found this stainless pot and it's a game-changer! This stainless inner pot is quite heavy duty - I would put in on par with nicer pasta posts from Williams Sonoma that I own. It fit perfectly, I've used it a dozen times already and it is perfect in every way! You can get a nice sear on meat and it's easy to clean. I didn't want to start over with a new instant pot since I had the hang of all the settings and timing - but now I have a brand new unit! I am so happy I purchased this. Thank you!

Our Elite by Maxi-Matic came with a Teflon coated liner. We're trying to get rid of all the non-stick coated cookware we have, and I looked for a stainless steel liner for the pressure cooker. I took some rough, caveman measurements with my handy dandy DeWalt tape measure, and it looked like this one was spot on. No reviews named my pressure cooker, but I took the risk. The DeWalt didn't let me down, and it fits perfect.This liner has a nice, heavy bottom to disperse the heat evenly. Construction looks very good, and it does have volume markings on the side.If you are looking for a SS liner for your pressure cooker, this might be the ticket!!

Got this big shiny pot to replace the original because it's non-stick coating was coming off. No regrets, this works great and no poisonous coating to flake off.I was a little worried that it wouldn't clean up as well but no issues there. Cooking rice does leave a funny design in the bottom, but no big deal, it's perfectly clean. (I do usually let any stuck rice soak overnight, then just run through the dishwasher, no problems.
