MCSFormat Picture Frames, Gallery Wall Frames, Black, 4 x 6, Pack of 6

I'm in charge of purchasing office supplies at my job, and was asked to get some plain black frames to hold achievement awards/anniversary certificates. These do the trick perfectly, and can easily be hung up on a wall or stand up on a desk. Will definitely order these again when we run out.I'm not a fake profile, nor have I been compensated for any reviews...in fact, the reason I take the time to review purchases when I can is due to the fact that I find other honest reviews helpful and am tired of all the fake reviews that have polluted this site. So pissed right now. I ordered this product, it arrived on time, looked great, was exactly what I expected as far as looks and functionality. However, I have a print that is exactly 12 inches x 12 inches (measured with a ruler before searching for frames). When this arrived, the print I wanted to frame would not fit inside. I had two options: buy a new frame, or try to trim my print to fix this. I opted to trying to trim my print to fix this and despite me poorly trimming, I managed to actually overtrim and thus, ruin my print. This product's QC is not 12x12 inside dimensions. Lesson to others: spend a little more if the piece you want to use is irreplacable such as mine was (an autographed print). I'm not out a souvenir and momento because I thought I could easily 'force' my piece into this frame. Shame on me for cutting into my piece, shame on the manufacturer for shoddy worksmanship.

Overall for the price these frames are about what I expected. Except for one critical part. My 9x12 prints wouldn't fit in them. I got out the tape measure and sure enough the actual opening is 8 and 7/8ths x 11 and 7/8ths. As you can see in my picture the line for 9 actually extends beyond the edge. While these would be great for something that is just under 9x12 I would have had to cut my prints down or damage the edges trying to force them in.

These things are great! The glass snaps in and out easily. I really like the sleek look. But like others have stated, a standard 8.5x11 sheet of paper does not fit without wrinkling. You'll have to trim about 1/8" off the side and top in order for it to fit without wrinkling. I had read this in the reviews, and was kind of expecting it. And since I have a paper trimmer, it didn't bother me at all to have to trim them. I'm using these to display pictures that I've colored.I've added photos showing the size of their insert laying on top of a sheet of printer paper with a ruler showing the measurement difference.

Very nice, easy to use plastic frame. Used these mixed with 8 x 8 frames from the same company for a wall display of bird photographs. The glass is very nice and is far superior to some of the clear plastic used in some frames. Something to keep in mind; since they are front mounted the photo is displayed full edge to edge. Unless you are using a matte or printing on oversize paper and trimming down to 8.5 x 11, the area of the 8.5 x 11 sheet that cannot be printed will be visible as a border. I just standardized that border at 1/4 inch on all the photos and it looks fine. I also liked that the same company provided a wide variety of frame sizes in the same style. Why only 4-stars? The shipment arrived very well packed but three of the six frames had cracks in the plastic at the corner. I have seen that noted on other reviews. I contacted Amazon and they sent a new 6-pack without requiring the return of the damaged ones. The replacement arrived very quickly with no shipping charges, in the replacement box all the frames were OK but one piece of glass had a chipped corner. Just replaced it with a piece from a damaged frame in the original order.

This product uses plastic and glass. In a pack of 3 one of the glass corners was cracked when I received the product, a dime-size piece was missing. Why do they use glass? The fram is plastic so it is not going to look high-end to begin with. Plexi-glass would be more durable and look fine. Frames in general. It is ridiculous that I cannot find cheap certificate frames on amazon for less than $5 per frame. Four pieces of thin wood and a letter-sized plexi-glass sheet should cost no more than $4. The cost of frames in general is absurd. Are prices controlled by a cartel? Or does no one but Ikea know how to make simple frames to hang things on the wall?

Although keeping these frames, I would not order them again. Why ... they state they are 8.5x11 inch frames, but 8.5x11 paper does not lay flat in them ... which means in order from my paper (or documents) to lay flat inside the frames, I have to cut about 1/16" in from both the long side and the short side. Can we then discuss that your image is no longer centered. And to keep it centered, one would need to cut 1/32" from all four sides. Sorry, that is not possible with scissors or an average paper cutter.Sure, one could cut 1/16" off all four sides, but unless you are extremely accurate, the frame lip is very small, so the cardboard stiffener behind your paper might be seen around the edges.Very disappointed with this purchase.

Necesitaba una opción barata para colgar unos posters y esto fue lo mejor que conseguí. Llegaron en perfectas condiciones, la caja original viene bien protegida y la de amazon...no mucho. El marco es una sola pieza de plástico, el vidrio es vidrio y el soporte es negro por un lado y marrón crudo por el otro, trae para colgarlo horizontal y vertical.

Absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary! I understand I bought cheap frames, and I have no issues with the cheap plastic— it’s the design that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! There is no reason for the same amount of money it took to make these frames you couldn’t have made them back loaders (you’e just need cardboard and 4 plastic tabs).- The purpose of loading a picture from the back of the frame is to reduce smudging, fingerprints, dust, and fuzz from getting on either your photo or the back of the glass. Since you load this from the front and literally need to push the glass out, the chances of getting smudges and fuzz on both the inside of the glass and the photo increase dramatically. It’s an incredibly frustrating process.- The hanging hook and the stand go into the same area!!! So if you have this frame hanging on your wall, and you decide you actually want it sitting on your desk, you’d have to go through the frustration of pushing out the glass and reversing the photo.- The process of pushing out the glass is incredibly difficult for anyone with dexterity issues/disabilities. Dyspraxia, arthritis, anyone one who has difficulty with find hand coordinations and motor skills will struggle finding the needed hand strength to push out the glass.Awful, awful, awful product. Next time I’ll just go to the dollarstore and get myself cheap frames in bulk that way. A shameful product.

Good looking frame. Size was correct. But after watching all videos and how to load pictures in, I tried loading my picture into it and the glass still broke when I tried. So waste of money. I did every it said to do and was sure it would be fine. Corner snapped and crushed in when I pushed on it. Well package and arrived perfectly though.

The only reason why I purchased this frame set was because of its cheap price. As the saying goes “You get what you pay for”.First, order two sets...the frame facing outwards will be damaged. I received my set broken, got a replacement set and the first couple of frames at the front were damaged as well.So I took three frames from the first order and three frames from the last order to make the set of six and returned all the damaged ones.Be careful replacing the glass when inserting your print, the glass MAY chip OR the plastic frame MAY split at the corner....BOTH have happened to me.While I found these frames lacking in quality I can’t complain because of the price I paid. These aren’t frames you’d hang in a gallery...I’ll have mine hanging in the basement.
