These really have put to shame the big brand versions that I have purchased and detected. The time from power on to connecting to the phone is negligible and sound quality is good. It still has the problem that occasionally it will disconnect from the phone or the sound will break up while exercising but compared to a certain over priced version I had a couple of years ago which would cut out with the phone inches away from the head set this one works perfectly and the battery life is far longer than many others I have tried and gave up on.
