🔊 Connect with Confidence!
The HIGHROCK 20 Banana Speaker Wire Cable Screw Plugs Connectors set includes 10 red and 10 black plugs, designed for effortless connectivity with speaker wires ranging from 2mm to 5mm in diameter. The screw connector fitting eliminates the need for soldering, making it a user-friendly choice for both professionals and audio enthusiasts.

solid connection
As separate pieces, the gold finish is clean, the fingers that fit into the banana jack are loose on the metal body, but fit tightly into the jack and do not show evidence of making a loose connection. The set screw tightens well onto the wire. There is no strain relief, I would suggest shrink tubing or tape on the wire as it exits the plug. The plastic appears a bit cheap with flash from the mold evident, but seems adequate.

Not the most robust but with gentle use they work.
They work when used gently. They will break with a bit of rough use.

Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed
I'm no audiophile, but I have been chasing better sound from my systems for decades. One thing I learned well: Good banana plugs are expensive. So when you see this quantity of banana plugs at this price point, it should occur to you that they may not be the highest quality things out there.I had a specific, somewhat unusual application for these plugs: I wanted to speed up the setup and teardown process for the sound system I use with my backyard movie screen (an old HT receiver plus 5 speakers). I connect speakers and receiver with 18 gauge solid copper wire (not stranded!).Other reviewers make note of the shallow insertion depth for the speaker wire, and those notes are accurate. Since my application is using sold core wire, I simply doubled 3/16" (4mm) over on itself, and the screw tightens down nicely. I would not expect these to work quite as well with stranded copper unless you tinned the ends with solder.I will note that the screws on two of the plugs stripped out and wouldn't tighten down fully. This was disappointing but not entirely unexpected. In the end, I got what I expected to get, was able to achieve my objectives for this product, and felt like the price was fair for what I received.

Bad Product -- Plugs Break Apart When Removed From Amplifier
These banana plugs have a manufacturing design flaw. Do not buy. The center pins holding the plugs together are not well secured to the rest of the plug. When removing the plugs from my 5 channel receiver (to move it from the dry-run set-up on my kitchen counter to the permanent location in the entertainment center), 4 of the 10 plug ends remained inside the receivers speaker terminals. Needed needle-nose pliers to remove. Checking the remaining six, several of pins were loose from the reset of the plug body. Bad product design with poor manufacturing quality control. Severely defective.

Good but not great
The male end will easily separate internally when unplugging from equipment.

Better than raw wires
I was tired of pulling speaker cables out and having the wire end be all frayed. This totally cleans up the back of my receiver and by the speakers so it's much easier to move them and clean behind them.

Not soldered, cheap parts
Initially they look to be a good deal. However, if you intend to use these frequently for swapping out speakers, then all of them start coming apart because the two metal pieces were compression fitted together instead of being soldered.

Solid quality.
Not flimsy like some others. Screw-terminals nice and tight. Very happy.

These fit without touching alongside each other.
We have tried other Banana Connectors but they touched due to the close positions on the Brennan B2.

like the gold plated contact
Make my audio project look professional. Easy to fit. You have make sure the screw is nice and tight otherwise the wire comes out.

Very poor quality
2 of these plugs fell apart before I even got to use them. Have returned for a refund

Fall apart
These come apart after you plug them in and leave 1/2 the plug on the amplifier. I took the plastics off all of them and soldered them together so they would stay together. Then put the plastics back on Buy different ones… or solder them..:
