All parents of teenagers must buy this book!
I love this book! It's a must for any suffering parent of a teen either for them to read or yourself. I read this book with my 13 year old son and we both really enjoyed it. It's written for teenagers so in teenage speak (some swear words included much to my sons amusement!) is very very funny in parts & has a few activities they can do. It didn't take us long to read it as we enjoyed it so much. There are opportunities for discussion on the issues raised in the book. It certainly provokes your teen to think about certain things & hopefully take them in. My son isn't the easiest of teens but he really responded to this book especially the bit about being the best version of yourself. We even use that now in our conversations so I at least know he's taken some of it in. Even if you think your ten aged wouldn't read this book still buy it as you might be surprised. My son isn't into reading so when we had time together I would read it aloud to him & we'd laugh & talk about what I'd read. So if nothing else it's a bonding session & am light alternative to try & get your teen to think about themselves, their behaviour & how they are important to our world. This book is simply brilliant & worth the money. I'm now going to pass it onto my friend who also has a teenager. It arrived quickly & no hassle. So don't delay order it today!! 😀

Extremely enjoyable book!
Hi, I’m Alice I’m 11 and in September I am starting high school, I am a big reader first of all so I was extremely excited when my dad told me he had ordered a book and it was arriving “today”. But yet, when I opened the package it was not at all what I expected. This book by Andy, Andy, Darrel and Amy, is such a interesting book, I could relate to it so much it does have rude words in such as, sh*t and cr*p and other words, but nothing you wouldn’t hear in high school. It really is helpful, even after the first few chapters my self confidence did well and truly grow, not by much, but it did make me feel better. Very relatable and interesting. Things that they have written in the books such as “lazy teens” and you don’t think you are one until you check the list :) I well and truly would give this 10/5 ⭐️ This book is very well written and I will be referring to it through my whole time at high school. Thank you 🙏

Check the content
Bought this for my granddaughter had a quick look and seemed a nice little book however I then spotted a page apparently quoting a famous singer which said Dying is easy it’s living that’s hard. Why on earth would the author this this is acceptable for our impressionable young people to read?? Needless to say I returned the book ….this has got to stop

Book
I got this book hoping that my son would read it and get some different ideas about how to think differently about situations. To be honest I don't know if he read it, but as a parent I thought it was good, and I wish my son would read it (he doesn't like to discuss stuff much). It's written in a way that's easy and quick to read, and I think I'd have liked it at that age (he was 14} in terms of giving confidence. I liked it.

I have my lovely daughter back!
I bought this book for my 11 year old daughter, who has been particularly hit by hormonal mood swings and other challenges. The morning after she finished it, she woke up like a different child. She's lighter, happier, and refers to herself as being optimistic. Her teachers have commented, her friends have noticed a difference and life at home seems easier and happier. I asked her what it was about the book she found most helpful, she said "all of it" and then added that the quotes from celebrities about what it felt like when they were teenagers were really good. It doesn't matter what you say as a parent, I guess they will always listen more to someone else say it - and if you're famous, even better!! I don't know how long the effect will last, but I guess she always has the book to refer back to.
