The seed starter trays are well made considering their cost. They may not last for multiple years use, but with some care I think I'll get at least two seasons out of them.The lid is high enough that I can use the seed starter trays to plant cuttings from many of my plants. That's the main reason I purchased these trays. The lid has an air vent. That was another important feature for me.I do recommend these trays for starting seeds or planting cuttings.

We really like how these are easy to use and have the vents up top. Our seeds have already sprouted.

Great seed starting trays! The domes fit great and I like that they have a vent option at the top. I’ve always struggled with my cells packs without a vented dome developing green algae on the soil surface, and the vent seemed to correct that problem. I had 100% germination! I didn’t know if I’d like the clear cell packs since I’ve always used the black kind, but it’s pretty neat to be able to see the root development and know without a doubt it’s time to pot the seedlings up. The black tray is flimsy, but it’s held up. You just gotta make sure you use both hands when filling at the faucet to water the cell pack from the bottom. I highly recommend these, and will be purchasing another set to up my seed-starting game! Oh! And the little tools are so awesome! Great for pushing seeds down, and plucking seedlings out to pot up! And pro tip-leave one of the cells empty, so you can pour water in it to fill the black tray to water the seedlings. Easier than trying to juggle the clear cell pack out, fill the black tray with water, then put the cell pack back in, etc.

Using these for seed starting and for supporting pots in trugs.

It does have nice capacity but when I go to lift the cells out of the tray to put water in the tray so it wicks upwards, I have to be extra cautious with the cells as they feel like they could break apart. I do like the vents in the lid however they don't let a lot of air in. I have to take the lid off.

The kit is much smaller to an I thought and my jiffy peat pellets I had left over from last year didn’t fit into the cups so I had to buy peat starter mix. Even thought the pellet looks like it fits, it’s the bottom portion of the seed cup that’s very narrow and small so the pellet doesn’t push down to the bottom.Fits 40 seed cups but once they get to an inch orTwo they will need transplanting because the pods are so close together and small that I sense the plants will start entwining themselves into their neighbors. All in all I would have preferred the larger size but for now I don’t want to deal with returning them. Does come with couple nice little starter tools to get your seeds in and out and the some lids have a dial to turn for opening air or closing while germinating.

I really like the vented domes that allow me to control the humidity. The price was great also (I got 5 domes 5 trays). The product was much sturdier than I expected at this price. I've already had better seed starting results than earlier this Spring. Good product!

Nice set of propagating seed trays, a little flimsy but used properly they do a good job. Good value for the price and easy to use happy with this purchase
