Despite living in a new building, I have never encountered this level of dust. If I dust in the morning, by the evening time there is dust on every single service, especially the floor. To help me with this never ending chore, I got two air filters, and while that helped significantly, I still would need to sweep at least every other day.I ordered this Ihome based on the reviews and also....I wasn't ready to spend $500+ on a robot vacuum yet. I am so glad I tried this vacuum!I love how thorough it is in cleaning, the multiple cleaning intensities and settings, and how easy it is to empty. I love that it returns to the dock on its own! It is also considered a "smart" robot, so I can use the app to set a cleaning schedule, manually direct the vacuum, and connect it to Alexa.Couple of things to note. First, I do have to run the vacuum multiple times to get everything cleaned (to my very particular standards). Luckily, it's easy to set this up in the app. I have it set up to do a general cleaning and then corner cleaning and together it takes about an hour for my entire apartment.Second, I also noticed that the mapping the robot does get better with time. Now I don't know if that's due to system updates or the vacuum memorizing my apartment, but it did get "smarter" after the first few uses. It even navigates under my couch and between my chairs now with minimal issues.Third, the suction is a little too good sometimes. I actually had to move and elevate every single cord in the house, as the vacuum would "eat" it and then shutdown. On the other hand, this vacuum is also powerful and smart enough to recognize carpet and change the intensity, which I love.If you are thinking about getting a robot vacuum, but don't want to spend $$$ on one of the more widely recognized vacuums, you should definitely give this one a try. Just a note, this did not come with the mop attachment, so don't expect it to be included in this price.

Can't blame it on delivery, as the box was in perfect shape, all the parts were packed. The vacuum did not turn on at all, I followed the instructions trying to get it started multiple times. So I figured maybe it was completely discharged, so I put it on the base to charge. First of all, the fact that you have to align it just perfectly for it to even attach itself to the charging spots is alarming in its own right, but I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. Once I finally put it in just the right position, the power and home light came on, stayed on for about 20 seconds and then went out. I could not find information anywhere whether that was normal. The fact that manual had no section for troubleshooting is also alarming. Long story short, despite multiple tries, I could not get this piece of junk to charge, and 12 hours later it was as dead as it was when it arrived. Returning it right back

Does NOT work with Alexa/Google Home. The apps will sync and detect the device, but will not control it, either through voice activation or button click. Alexa will either say that it doesn’t recognize the command, or simply won’t respond. (Alexa works fine for several smart devices in my home: lights, A/C, air purifier, smart plugs, TV).Suction power is decent, not great. Battery does NOT last 2 hours, maybe about an hour. Provides good coverage of areas near the charging base, but tracking “loses” it if it strays too far (20ft or so). Climbs from hardwood to medium/short carpets, but sometimes has trouble getting onto thicker carpets. Does NOT do well on thicker carpets, has mobility/tracking difficulty. Excepting thicker carpets, it maps the cleaning route well, but does not store the map and must rebuild a map each time it begins. Gets animal hair ok, but fills up quickly if you have a heavy shedder (I have a Pyrenees, so mine fills quickly).In short, it’s a decent buy for the price. Considering some brands run up to $1,000 this much cheaper alternative is worth the buy if you don’t want to spring for more expensive Shark or Roomba.

we recently purchased the vacuum to replace our well known r00mba.... immediately, we found it to be much quieter and just as good if not better than it's competition.But what I was most impressed with, was it's ease of use. On our second round of using the vacuum, we started it at 8 am and slept in. Unfortunately, we forgot that our 16-yo blind chihuahua has accidents.More unfortunate is that the smell is tough but what's worst? Having brand new flooring and seeing a brown line that goes through your living room and around the sofa, into your dining room around the dining table. It isn't a sight I will forget anytime soon.Okay do you dump your brand new vacuum that has poop inside the rollers and covering the entire bottom? Let me tell you, it's tempting and the first thing that me and my husband thought to do. but it's a big investment to cry over so we decided to give it a shot.we got out disposable gloves, masks, alcohol, q-tips, and the water hose. the brush was easy to pop out, so we hosed that down. then we used alcohol and q-tips to clean the vacuum and all the parts. easy peasy lemon squeezy. like brand new! well it was brand new. so it smelled brand new!we've used it a couple more times and it continues to work really well. the big thing for me is how quiet it is. also, because it's low profile, we can keep it under our armoire when it is not in use.would highly recommend!

Do not buy this item. My original iHome device stopped working and I thought this would be a nice replacement. Instead, it didn’t work and I had to ask for a replacement. They sent the replacement and it didn’t work as well. I finally contacted iHome customer service and learned that these are the first vacuums they created so they’re very old and no longer in production. iHome suspects the batteries aren’t any good in any of the devices and have told the seller but they continue to sell them anyways. I returned mine and am still waiting for a refund.

Desde que recibí el producto seguí las instrucciones. Pero no encendía ningún botón. Creí que estaba totalmente descargado, intenté por horas encenderlo para configurarlo y cuando al fin lo logré lo dejé cargando al 100% pero apareció la leyenda: “dust box bot installed” revise el contenedor y estaba bien instalado. Sin embargo la batería rápidamente apareció en 0% nuevamente. Repetí todo y el resultado ha sido el mismo. Espero entre a devolución.

Purchased in Aug 2021 does not work. 3rd party seller said to contact the manufacturer.The manufacturer said the warranty is not valid if purchased outside of USA. We purchased on Amazon.caso we are out of luck. Amazon Canada should not be selling the product if it is not covered under manufacturers warranty.Amazon won’t refund us either. Very disappointed all around!
