This hose is just like all the others. If you close off the spraying end when you turn the water on, it will expand to 75 feet. When you turn off the water, it shrinks to an easily lifted bundle about 6-10 feet long. Very light weight.But also just like all the others, it will not last more than a season at best no matter how much you baby it. (Putting it away in the garage after use, not stretching it, not using full force water, not exposing it to sunlight) I have had 5 of these from various manufacturers. (and have you noticed several of them are the same company, different name?)Don't pay a lot for fancy. The hose will last 2-5 months max. It will either spring a leak or, more commonly, burst at one end where it meets the plastic or brass end. I have noticed however, that the inside diameters seem to vary a bit. This one had a decent stream. I have had other ones where the stream of water was only tolerable. I believe the inside diameter of this one is restricted to about 5/8". I have also noticed that most reviews and most sales blurbs do not tell you about this. It makes a difference to me. Almost every hose of this type comes with a plastic sprayer having 7 or so settings. They are all the same. Several brands come with a turn off valve that I have learned to toss - it provides no utility and gets in the way of the good sprayer I bought elsewhere.But for an average of $20-30, I don't mind spending on average the $10/month that it will last. It's VERY convenient. I received this particular hose and started using it March 28. On June 30, after using it every other day, it burst.

Complete garbage. This hose sprung a major leak within the first thirty days. It's not like I did anything unusual with the hose, but the inner rubber hose is apparently quite weak and will not stand up to even light occasional use. It worked fine up until today, but within a short time of turning on the hose this afternoon it basically ruptured internally and started shooting water through the fabric coating on the outside.I had seen other similar reviews before buying the hose, but there were enough positive reviews to make me think that the problem was perhaps somewhat exaggerated. I now know better.Do not buy this hose. It is not well built, and will not last long at all.

Dont last you get a week to a season its like Russian Roulette . I am disabled so I really need them so i stock up when on sale and go through about 2 -3 a year sadly . Tried the super heavy duty expensive ones and they broke less often but at the rate of about 2 a season so I just get whats cheap on sale . I usually buy in fall sales for the next year . I believe in hand washing and keeping the car rinsed and I live on a dirt road . I save enough to pay for the hoses over going to a car wash which is my only choice without this type of hose .

This thing is worthless. Total crap. Didn't even work on the first try. Don't waste your money. If you do want to waste your money then at least just light it on fire that way you don't have to wait for the 2 day shipping to get rid of it. You can't tighten it tight enough at the hose bid to get it to stop spraying everywhere. You lose more water at the connection than where you want.

Im giving two stars because it worked GREAT for 3 months, then it fell apart. Fittings came apart, which i fixed several times, but the the hose sprung a hole in the middle, and that was all she wrote. Lasted from October 2015 until June 2016.

It gets the job done. There is much water that can get through. I just wanted something easy to put away when not in use. I only use it for washing our cars.

I bought two of them 2 months ago and one of them was broken yesterday. I think this product has really bad quality.NOT RECOMMENDED. Don't loose your money. Pay more for better quality.

Bought for elderly mother and she forgot to relieve pressure and broke even under front porch in warm weather..
