This book stack is so cute and simple for every day display yet it is easy to add embellishments for holidays/occasions if you want. My pic attached shows how I added a few things and dressed it up for Valentine's.

The books were exactly as I anticipated. The string and the greenery is in separate packages. You unwrap the string, and then wrap it around the books and tie it. It was just what I wanted. FYI the pages are blank. You could use as a journal.
