Works for me -- very happy!
I was born with very narrow sinus passages. One side is somewhat deviated -- over the years, it has almost completely collapsed. My sinusitis has become chronic -- my doctor says it will only get worse with time--but that a reconstructive operation might help. I have chosen not to have the operation, so far.Sinus infection seems to hit me about every few weeks now. I have always been somewhat of a health nut and do not like using drugs or traditional medical treatments. Once I did use steroids and antibiotics to get rid of a really painful sinus infection-- but usually I find I can get over a sinus infection using natural remedies. Because of my malformed nasal passages I am always on the lookout for relief and better nasal hygiene.I have used various mixtures and brands which have pepper extract as their main ingredient-- at first, the pepper spray opened up my sinuses really well; but I have found that if I use pepper spay too often that it becomes less effective in keeping my passages open.(I now only use pepper spay infrequently as a shock-blast method to open a clamped-down sinus passage--then I spray a microbe killer into the opened passage to get rid of the infection).Microbe killers such as olive leaf extract sprays & oregano leaf extract sprays do work for me -- but to date, all the brands of this type that I have tried leave my sinus passages really dry (I sometimes get nosebleeds after using them). SinuSoothe's more extensive list of ingredients does away with the side effects I used to have: no more dry nose and dry throat for me. SinuSoothe is, so far, in my book the best out there. When I spray SinuSoothe up my nose it lets me know it is there--I like the kick--feels like it is working! SinuSoothe opens my closed passages and kills the microbes causing the infection--but with no nosebleeds. My sinus passages stay moist and do not dry out. And I do not get the heavy postnasal mucus running down the back of my throat that other sprays use to give me. Instead, I find the saliva at the back of my throat to be very thin and almost sweet: SinuSoothe dissipates my thick, choking mucus turning it into the pleasantly light, easy-to-swallow secretions I remember from my youth.

As helpful to me as prescription Veramyst
I ordered SinuSoothe as a possible replacement for my prescription Veramyst (two 27.5mcg sprays per nostril daily), because I worry about the long-term health consequences of using nasal corticosteroid sprays. I also was unhappy that corticosteroids only treat my symptoms (discomfiting light-headedness/dizziness from Meniere's Disease which itself possibly was caused by allergies, and also stuffiness/postnasal drip/sinus headaches/etc.). My hope was/is that the SinuSoothe would safely and naturally control or cure the cause (chronic sinusitis) of my symptoms without the negative potential consequences of the Veramyst, and therefore not equal a life-sentence of prescription chemical dependence.I was a little wary about this product after reading what I perceived to be a great deal of thinly-veiled self promotion on the internet, where I was researching my option. I also was hesitant based on the reviews detailing the horrid burning and smell. I tried it anyway and I'm very glad I did.I stopped my Veramyst and replaced it with one spray per nostril daily of SinuSoothe beginning the next day. I have been using the SinuSoothe for one week now. This is nowhere near a sufficient amount of time to evaluate its long-term effectiveness, but I did want at least to report the good things I've experienced the first week. I followed the instructions about testing it first on my skin and then trying one spray before full use, and had no allergic response. Upon my first full use, I did not feel much burning but I did sneeze for a few minutes, starting a few minutes after use; I then smelled a spicy clove/cumin type of smell for several seconds every now and again for a few hours. On subsequent days, I have felt about 30 seconds of burning in my sinuses, nose, and then down into my throat after use - no worse than the burning I felt in my sinuses that ONE time I used my Neti pot with plain tap water instead of an isotonic salt water solution (yes, I do nasal irrigation with a Neti pot each day, and it has also helped alleviate my allergy/sinus/inner ear problems!). Every other day I sneeze a couple times or my eyes water. The spicy smell is pleasant to me, and neither overpowering nor long-lasting. I usually stop noticing it after a few minutes, though I sometimes get a brief whiff of it now and again throughout the day. The effects? Overall, my symptoms are at the least no worse than when I had been on the Veramyst, and possibly even more reduced. Despite the past two weeks being a "bad allergy time of the season", my post-nasal drip has been minimal if it exists at all. Note that during one week I was used only the Veramyst and during the second I used only the SinuSoothe. I've had a lot more mucus drainage (gross, but helpful), almost no stuffiness, very little dizziness, very little feeling of pressure or pain in my ears and around my eyes. In previous years, when I stopped the Veramyst at such a time of year as this, I did feel noticeably worse within one week. I take this as a good sign that the SinuSoothe is effective for me.I recommend it!
