The media could not be loaded.  One of the notes is so out of tune it hurts!The movement is in the key of C and the 4th A ("Sun" of "Sunshine") and subsequent plays of that A are out of tune - flattened by 30 cents which is very apparent and sounds terrible.I bought this as a sincere gift - but sadly this is just comic it sounds so bad.See and hear my video for the full experience! This will also give an idea of size for those wanting to know.That's what you get for paying very little for an item I guess - poor quality.Going straight back for a refund.

Nice looking little box, small but I realised that. It sits in the palm of my hand! Nice tune You Are My Sunshine when you turn the handle. I got this to show my Grandchildren as my Gran had one we played with as children and also because I sing that to them! However, it sounded nice for two days but then started making strange sounds in the background like scraping but got louder till it now sounds like a growl. The young children don’t like it now and won’t wind it. Could not send it back because we had thrown packaging out. Still a nice looking little box but very disappointed with the noises. I thought about getting another one but decided not to incase they all make this sound! Cannot recommend because of this.

The box was smaller than expected however it did provide measurements on the product info I obviously just didn’t read them properly. It’s actually nicer that is smaller than I thought.It’s a gorgeous little box to keep, bought for my son as I’ve sang this song to him since he was a baby. This was a really special gift the happiness it brought was priceless!!

Happy with the tune and the look but made the classic mistake of not checking the dimensions. It’s miniature.
