My husband had very bad wound on his upper leg - that would not heal with antibiotic creams. My mother brought me this product as they used it to help heal wound for 95 year old women that she is taking care of. She had non-healing would on her leg for 2 years as older people do not heal as well. After many creams from doctor that did not help, In hospital they applied this dressing into her wound and left it there. All healed so beautifully for this old lady - as this dressing creates perfect healing environment while silver kills bacteria. So my husband decided to try it and it worked for him perfectly and finally it's almost closed up- and he just leaves it there. Silver was used historically to kill bacteria and viruses. Medicine did not like it too much but now they are coming back to it as their antibiotics do not work as well due to overuse - teaching bacteria how to evolve and resist. After taking antibiotics my husband is also now taking Quantum Charged Silver from our holistic doctor to make sure internally all bacteria is killed as well.

Before buying this, I’d ask a doctor. I had surgery and they were putting it on my incisions, but I had none of it myself. I found out that something else they used was on Amazon, so I decided to buy it, and thought, I’ll just check...and there was SilverCell! So it has been amazing! I already knew that it was what was helpful for me, so if your doc thinks so too, it comes in different amounts. It has been very helpful for me! (You need to put a little water on it to activate it).

They're absorbent but don't stick to the wound. I'm on my second order of these pads.
