An extremely complex build, resulting in a very high quality vehicle
This is a STURDY build, and the end result feels like it could easily be a model car, let alone LEGO. The build process itself is also very intense and complex, really satisfying that LEGO impulse for older builders.Pros:- Looks amazing!- Contains gears, suspension, liftable bonnet, pistons, etc- Deeply engaging 8-10 hour build process, with a genuine sense of progression along the way- The thickest instruction booklet I've ever seen, close to 500 steps(!)- End result is fun to hold, due to the realistic suspension and steering- It's BIG! Images above should help give context, it wouldn't fit in front of my books on bookshelfCons:- Set itself can have issues, with many people experiencing clicking noises etc unless the build is perfect- No explanation of WHAT the parts of the engine are- No backstory on the vehicle itself, just instructions- Whilst the set is split into 4 phases, some of them require an absurd number of bricks at once!
