This is one of the best bulb cameras I've gotten so far, it's updated and the night vision looks crisp. I have a older model one that I'm going to replace with another one of these models I just ordered!_UPDATE_~ This camera doesn't keep photos like the older model, it's impossible to see what happens unless you're watching live or pay for cloud services or just have a sd card. So even though the image looks better it doesn't catch alarm photos like the older model did..that loses 2 stars.

Not sure about the negative and false statements that have been posted. Competition?I had no issue connecting when I followed the instructions to temporarily turn off the 5G band of my router. (I turned the 5G back on after connecting the camera to the 2.4G.) This has a clear image, the light is decent (but not really needed because the night vision works so well). Maybe it would help scare off would be intruders. I'm able to monitor live view on my phone via WiFi or the phone's cellular data. It captures video to an SD card and I'm able to review footage via my phone, whether on WiFi or cellular. In the video footage timeline on the phone app, there are red marks that indicate motion was detected. Nice feature to aid in fast searches. I like being able to set it to overwrite previous footage when the card gets filled up or set it to stop recording when full. Also I can format the card (from my phone) to erase card and start fresh whenever I want. They provide a QR code link to a full manual but the small, brief manual included in the package and the in-app instructions were all I needed. I'm very satisfied and would recommend this to a friend.

Tried repeatedly to connect to wifi, called technical support via Amazon, they had nothing to offer for help. Even if it had finally connected to wifi there are other issues that would have prompted me to return it anyway. First of all, it talks. DON"T MAKE A SECURITY CAMERA THAT TALKS YOU JACKWADS!!! Why would I wan't my PRIVATE HIDDEN security light bulb non-conspicuous camera to TALK?????? Come on, who's making this junk. So lets say you got lucky and had one that connected to the internet. Everytime your internet would go down, the light bulb camera would come back on with speaking prompts. Ohell no, ain't havin it. No thank you light bulb geniuses. Another issue is the SD card slot. Lets say I want to remove my SD card and put it in my mac so I can transfer the videos onto my computer. Ohell no, you can't get the SD card out without microscopic tweezers and a few paper clips. Brilliant again, light bulb camera graduate students. NEXT TIME GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL BEFORE YOU MAKE A PRODUCT!!!!!

It’s not as good as everyone says it it.

This is where I inserted the memory card. I can't retrieve it. I don't know if it's in there correctly.And the directions show a different kind of bulb.

I am really pleased with the Freenics security camera.I found it surprisingly easy to install and use. The instructions were clear.We have it outside our garage now and it works like a champ.It allows us to see what is happening outside our house no matter where we are.

Installation was a breeze 🌬️, image quality at day time is very good, the night vision could be a tad bit brighter but it's still good for the price🤑,I have installed the second unit at my mom house and she love it.

This is not worth any money, the camera on the bulb is very tiny (the little black spot on the top of the bulb) and is not a clear picture. One lamp I tried points up, so all I could see was a circle on the ceiling. The next light fixture I tried pointed down, and I got a picture of the floor. Very difficult to set up and connect with my WiFi. I can not recommend this product.
