Cane Buddy Adjustable Foldable Lightweight Stand Alone Pivoting Quadruple Tread Base Cane With Built-in LED Light

I purchased this to help a bit as I recover from a foot issue that includes a broken bone. It's been wonderful -- it has reduced pain a great deal because I can off-load a bit of weight onto it, just enough to relieve pain. And it has helped normalize my gait since I've had to favor this foot for weeks now. I wish I had had it sooner. It has exactly the features you see and they all work on mine. The light works fine and I use it if I need to get up at night and trundle off to the bathroom without disturbing my husband by turning on more lights. It's pretty bright and I could see it would be great at night walking through a parking lot, for example. It snaps together in a flash -- and as per the directions, you should make sure each part is snapped in place. But it is perfectly reliable if you check on that. The height adjustment is easy. One of the best features to me is how it pivots. Very helpful. It's true that the "foot" is small but that's what I wanted so I wasn't tripping over it -- that means that it's less stable standing alone than a big four footed cane. But on a hard surface, it stays put. On a soft surface like a carpet, I just lean it against something or lay it down even. No big deal. And it does have a wrist strap if you need it. It's light and folds easily and has a case. I would always travel with it now -- just in case. For the price, it's really great. People use canes differently and it's fairly personal -- but for my particular purposes, this one is exactly right.

Only one week and the LED light no longer works. This product is too lightweight. It has a very weak center of gravity, so it topples over at the slightest push. Mom lays it down on its side because of that. What was the point of getting this then. The light no longer works, because it fell down very hard while she was at the senior center. It's elegant and the company delivered in time, but a disappointment. Too bad.

Bought this cane for my dad who is 85 and even him being short, it has worked great for him. The light is very useful at night, when he needs to go to the bathroom and it is light and it folds so he can take with him easily. Even the base of the cane helps make him feel secure in gravel area.

nice. Wife broke her foot, and opposite hand, and this was a great find that allows her to get around much better. It stands up on its own and has a flash light. Also seems sturdy and folds up easily.

This cane is great. I wanted a folding cane; something that was strong, sturdy, and could stand on its own and this does. The light on the front top sometimes loosens a bit so it won't come on every time, but just tighten it again and it''s fine. I never really needed the light - just tested it a few times.I don't need a cane 100% of the time so this is easy to store away when not in use.

Bought this for my husband and he seems to like it. It does the job of stabilizing him when he walks. That said, I don't think this is a particularly quality cane. The grip is okay, but flimsy. The cane is bulky when it is folded down and does not fit inside my purse. The snap on the strap to tie the folded cane and keep the pieces together broke off immediately. The base which is supposed to pivot does not. Expensive for what it is.
