This is a quality spatula, have already used for stir fry, hamburgers (turner), scrambled eggs, it does well for alot of things that you don't want to use a metal utensil for or even a silicone spatula. I think I need another one of these, they are useful for many dishes and are easy to hold also.

I got these for cooking fried rice in non-stick Wok and they work great. Arrived with a great oil finish on them, though the hang hole didn't receive any finish, so some butcher block oil in the hang hole will be applied for protection. The set I got had some beautiful figuring in them, which adds some wonderful aesthetic to them sitting in their wood container on the counter while awaiting use

works great for a cast iron pan. does ok in dishwasher, but i always reoil afterward. keeping it oiled with olive oil keeps food from sticking to it. i like the wood much better than plastic, silicone and metal spatulas

I purchased these tools to use in my new hand hammered wok immediately after discovering that the metal ones I had previously bought were causing scratches.These came to me very quickly and I am happy to have made the switch. The wood is very solid and extremely durable.The ONLY complaint that I have about them...and I hate to use the word complaint...it's more of an annoyance is that the spatula curves UP on the outside edges. I think that they should be flat on the outside edges if not even slightly curved to mesh with the curvature of the wok bottom. The raised-up edges make it a little less efficient when stir frying veggies or rice.Update the design slightly to fit the curvature of a wok better and you have a perfect combination of form and functionality. The aesthetic appeal will improve as well as they sit in the bottom of the wok looking like they were a match made in heaven.

This spatula is exactly as described and the flat edge allows me to separate ground meat easily while cooking. It's extremely sturdy and lasts a long time.

I read the reviews on these tools, and liked how everyone loved the usefullness and beauty of the craftmanship.The spoon is a thing of beauty. The spatula is much lighter than the spoon in weight. The spatula does not have the same finish that the spoon does.That aside they have become my go to tools when Iam using my dutch ovens, or my wok. Well designed for flipping meat that you are browning, or stiring vegitables that you are softening.Love them.

I just prefer the feel and efficiency of the wood spatula and spoon to metal. I don’t have to worry about scratching my wok and I wanted the long handles to keep my hands away from the heat. Added bonus is that they’re beautifully finished and they just go very well with my 14 inch carbon steel wok. Almost like they were made for it.

I wanted to start replacing my plastic utensils for cooking with wooden ones. I have only used the spatula so far that came in this 3 piece set. It was easy to handle and lightweight and they look and feel nice. I was a bit disappointed after I used it once and washed it and noticed it's cracked at the top. I'm sure I'll continue to use it and I'll probably get a few more similar to replace everything but probably not from this company. I hope the other pieces don't do the same
