I bought these to replace my existing work socks as I heard it there are high-quality fabric for Outdoor Multi Performance for Hiking/Walking Socks which sound prefect for my needs. For years, kind of wasting so much money on wearing of sock that doesn’t feel good quality for my work, which I do a lot of walking during a shift. As I started to get blisters, irritation on my heel and toes, due to lack of thickness and comfort. So I need comfortable, specially made socks, then I come across these socks from Alaplus.I never bought from them before but glad I’ve found this sock from amazon. The price is great, got it for under £20 which is a great value, affordable price for a pack of six. Once I tried them on, my first impression simply perfect fit, very comfortable, these socks just designed very well to mould neatly around my ankles, stretched easily over my foot, giving me comfortable & arches support, great different wearing experience from my previous socks. Very supportive extra thin padded fabric beneath the foot area, enough for comfort on the heal and toe bits of my feet that grip also very well, doesn’t slide around in my shoes, not too tight instead very comfortable and breathable which my feet have never felt hot in them. I assume to be able to wear these in any other seasons even winter time, as long the shoes are also durable quality to keep warm aswell. Overall, recommendation great very high-quality socks, durable, washable & affordable price, Anyone looking for some comfortable and durable socks, specialise made for long periods of time for walking (as for my work in my case) also hiking and even running, whatever reason these Alaplus socks won’t be disappoint.

Out of the package they seem small, but they do stretch to fit properly. Comfortable and breathable too. The fit is good. Didn't shrink when I washed them.

Really comfy. Good size. Wash well so far. Nice and warm.

Nice foot section, with good fit and cushioned sole, providing supporting fit around ankle. However above ankle a little too tight around the lower calf.

I bought these sock recently for every use and I am very impressed with the comfort and quality. This product is like an expensive brand without the cost.The material is very high quality even after many washing cycles. They fit on easily whilst having decent compression. The material itself is durable and looks like it will last a long time.These socks are very comfortable as it is soft yet durable. They are also very good at keeping your foot warm in the winter whilst also being breathable in the summer.They are very good for gym use as I have used many different brands which get damaged after a few uses.Overall very good pair of socks and would recommend them as they have the quality of expensive brands without the cost.

Nice socks, soft and padded were needed.Nice crisp white and good length.Will definitely be purchasing again.

UPDATED 29/12/21I've revised my rating from two stars to just one. After just a few weeks, two of these socks have developed holes - not along the seams, as you might expect, but big rips up the sides. I have reached the conclusion that these socks are not fit for purpose and I can't receommend them even to people with small feet.ORIGINAL REVIEWThese socks seem acceptably well made, they're reasonably thick and they look OK (but I really could have done without the embarrassing $ sign - shame they concealed that in the product pictures).However I have two issues:1. I take a size 12, so I ordered the size 12-15 socks, thinking that I would enjoy a bit of leeway. The socks that arrived, however, are a very tight fit - too tight, in fact. The packaging gives no indication of the size so I have no idea if they actually do have different sizes or if that's just for marketing reasons. It would be interesting to order the smaller sizes and compare them.2. The washing instructions basically suggest I have to wash them separately from anything else I possess - luke warm, no spin, no tumble dry. Had I seen these instructions in the product listing I would have avoided them - which I suppose is why they don't include them.Overall, I can't say that the socks are particularly uncomfortable (although the tight fit becomes an issue if you're on your feet all day) - but in no way do they match the expectations set in the product listing. I was expecting to be walking on air and enjoying luxurious padding and comfort never before known to humans. Well, no. They are very ordinary socks that have been very much overhyped.Would I buy them again? No. I will go to Tesco and pay the same or less for equally good quality, or to M&S for more money and better quality. Would I recommend them to others? Only if you have very small feet.
