Good for a year, then eh
After about a year, we could start feeling the springs coming through the cushions under our butts and the backs were worn in spots so they just weren't comfortable. If you're not going to sit on it regularly, it would probably be fine. But if this is going to be your main sofa, plan on getting something else after about a year

It’s nice and pretty, not forever and ever though
I am a five start type of person. I basically give everything five stars. And I did want to give this couch five starts but I gave it four. It’s good and it’ll work for a home with a budget with furniture shopping. I can tell this isn’t going to last. I’m hoping to get at least three years out of it but we’ll see. My plan consists of sitting on blankets when we sit to maintain the material and just try not to destroy it. I have four girls so we’ll see how this’ll work out. If something goes terribly wrong I’ll come back and update my review for future buyers. It for sure has the smell others were talking about so you’ll have to spray it. But it is a nice looking couch. I plan on having throw pillows and multiple throws anyways so if the cushions get ugly from sitting you probably won’t be able to tell anyways. My favorite part is the ottoman because I can put my feet up. Also I’m a heavy woman and so far haven’t had any issues in regards to feeling like this can’t handle my weight so that’s another plus.

Either Spend Way More Or A Lot Less
Update: October 8, 2021~ roughly 7 months after purchase it broke.1 starUpon opening the set of 4 containers I was overwhelmed with a chemical smell. This is probably common with shipped, mass produced furniture and cannot be helped, just be forewarned. I let the pieces air out for a day or so before putting together. What irked me the most were the bad instructions and bad build quality. The assembly was easy enough however parts E, F, and C were not labeled. It's fairly obvious where they go but I expect instruction manuals to faithfully represent the product being assembled.Additionally, the screws that came with the kit are not _exactly_ the same as the screws pictured in the manual. In the manual the screws are threaded all the way down. My screws had a break between upper and lower thread in them that I wasn't quite sure how to place because there was no reference to this break in the manual. Poor form, I say.I tried to figure it out but ended up pulling some of the stuffing out of one of my backrests because of this error. Their error. This thing feels cheap. The pillows are wrinkled and I fear may never be whole. Along those lines the backrest pillows don't seem to align correctly on the top horizontal. Annoying. The chaise *is not* attached to the rest of the couch in any way shape or form. I don't know if thats common for chaise's or not but this one is not.In the end you get a couch that costs more than a cheap couch but is, in fact, just a cheap couch. I wouldn't even recommend this thing as a starter couch because Im sure you can find cheaper at the same quality (maybe not a sectional though).I'd recommend either finding a cheaper couch or, if you have the means, buying a better couch from a local store so you can at least test it out before purchasing. If you do purchase this get a decent couch cover because it's a lot uglier than I expected.2 Stars because I did order it and technically it is a sectional

Good for what you pay
This couch was the first real couch my husband and I ever bought new. We couldn't spend a huge amount so we chanced this one. It was easy to set up, and the back cushions stick on so that my kids don't run off with them. The back cushions are pretty comfy and there's plenty of space for me, husband, 2 kids, 2 cats, and 2 large dogs. The bottom cushions aren't as great. As others have mentioned, they're pretty firm and I can feel springs through in a few spots. The long cushion struggles to stay put and the back doesn't line up quite right in one spot. It's also a little narrow if you're wider so the corners are the more comfy spots. If you're looking for a solid couch and can't afford $1000+, I still think this one is good, but just know there are a few drawbacks and set your expectations a little lower.

Nice look for the price, smooshed cushions disappointing
For the price it’s an okay couch. We didn’t want to spend a lot of money because we were using it in the basement as essentially a kids couch. I didn’t want an expensive piece of furniture that I had to be a nut case about people’s feet on the couch or eating on the couch. I love the color. The fabric is soft. The cushions are firm, much like a futon. It looks nice but two back cushions arrived smooshed in the box. I think they will poof up but initially they looked like they didn’t even fit. I kneaded them a bit and it helped but I’m disappointed that the brand new couch already looked crumpled (pictured)

Why the zipper!?
What is the point of having zippers on the cushions if you can remove the cover to wash it! I finally after about a year now broke down and cut the ties to wash the covers! It's been a year since I bought it multiple butts and kids have come and go. It needed to be washed. I should have been smart enough not to buy a light colored fabric couch. Lesson learned.

Great value! Easy assemble! More on the firm side than soft as far as cushions go
I was really surprised how great this couch was for the price. You can buy one that is slightly bigger from the same manufacturer which is Ashley furniture that is $400 which is ridiculous, the value for this couch is great. It was super easy to assemble. Took me like 30 minutes with my drill and bit set. The only slight downfall is that the cushions are not super soft, I am told they will break in and they have but it’s a decently firm couch as far as the buttocks go haha
