Do this yourself and save hundreds
Bulb is stupid expensive if a local water service comes to replace. A YouTube video and some can do will save you 200 bucks a year

I have not used it long enough to comment on expected life. Fast shipping, good packaging and proper fit. I am totally satisfied to this point. Price very competitive, especially considering shipping to Hawaii.

Recommend going third party - mislabeled box, wrong part, Viqua very unhelpful
I recommend shopping third party- it's cheaper and you'll likely actually get what you ordered.Bought 2 of these as I needed a replacement, plus an extra in the event that I accidentally crack it the next time I made a change.So, I didn't open the box for the 2nd sleeve until a year later as I wanted to make sure I had a backup at the ready. When I opened it, I found a little 2015 model of a UV lamp (not even compatible with my system, unfortunately) and no sleeve.Note: the box was labeled correctly BY VIQUA that it was the sleeve I ordered, but semi visibly underneath that label upon further inspection, was another label, for this UV lamp that I did not order.First I contacted Amazon, who I do not fault (as if they receive a sealed box from Viqua saying it's a certain part, they understandably take their word for it, rather than tearing open the box to verify). They said since I ordered the part over a year ago, I would need to contact Viqua.Contacted Viqua - easy enough to get a hold of, however when speaking to the Technical Warranty department rep, was met with rudeness and hostility off the bat. The aggressive deflection and refusal to even fake sympathy for the mistake that THEY made in packaging the wrong item took me by surprise.Viqua did, in the end, offer to send me a new sleeve, and refused any kind of refund or to work with Amazon to refund me and correct their mistake. I said, alright, if that's all I can get, might as well have another spare just in case since I did pay $40 for this thing. The rep then (in a very rude and smug "I know you're not going to do this" tone) demanded a bunch of hastily listed info she would need from me, including my social security number. I said I was not comfortable with that, and as another rude snarky response started to come out, I hung up on her.I'll eat the $40 rather than deal with this unnecessary stress, thanks. Have a nice day Viqua.I've since ordered another sleeve from a third party vendor on Amazon. Checked the box this time, and it's the right part - so far, they're beating Viqua in that respect. I recommend going that route from the get-go to be on the safe side - other options are also much cheaper.
