The best
This is my favorite brand of natural soaps. Gentle on my sensitive skin yet very effective cleaning. Suds well against washcloth. Nice, gentle smell.

I LIKE THIS VERY MUCH
I have used this soap in the past and it is very good for my private part and it does not burn my skin at all and i like the fact also that it is unscented.

A High Bar
The description of this soap sets a high bar and the product meets it. I have very, very, very sensitive skin that hates all moisturizers, sun screens, foundations (the two it tolerated are no longer available), plus bath oils, salts, and cleansers. But is it ever loving this soap! And my husband, who could, and always did, smear himself with anything, but has recently developed some redness and dry spots on his face and body, loves it too.Be sure to order the fragrance-free, non-oatmeal version if you're ultra-sensitive too.p.s. Three days after I wrote this review my husband's face has become smooth and radiant (can you say that about a guy's skin?); all red splotches and dry patches are gone.

Simple, Sustainable, and Smart
I like the whole Sappo Hill product line. While it's somewhat pricey the soap is hard milled and lasts far longer that most vegetable-based soaps. They have several unscented varieties and I wanted to try the very basic one. How basic? Ingredients: "Non-GMO Food Grade Oils of RSPO-Certified Sustainable Palm, and Coconut, Water, Sodium Hydroxide*, Glycerin". Not much there. Leaves your skin feeling smooth while rinsing clean. Unscented means no discernable nor lasting scent as everything really has a scent. This one has a faint coconut smell which likely comes from the coconut oil. Even then, it's hard to pin down, totally ignorable, and is fleeting. I highly recommend this soap.

Will not strip your skin or leave a film.
I have been using this soap for years and haven't needed to apply lotion after showering ever since. Ordinary soaps always make my skin itch and feel very dry, but this soap always makes my skin feel terrific. My husband uses this soap as well and he prefers it to using shampoo (his hair is very short) and says it is terrific to shave with. It costs a little extra than mass produced soaps, but it is well worth it.

Great soap, terrible packaging
This is the 3rd time I've ordered this product. It's a good product for sensitive skin and noses. Purchasing online saved $5 over the cost of 12 individual bars at WholeFoods, but this time – as others have noted – the shipment came in a flimsy box that had exploded within the plastic Amazon delivery bag. The bars were loose and mashed up a bit, and I had to store them in another container and clean up the mess. The damage was more cosmetic than serious, and I will use them, but note that this product cannot be returned. Next time I'll just buy individual bars at WholeFoods.

Love this soap.
I have chemical sensitivities and this is the only soap that I can use, been using it for years. It doesn't dry my skin out and it is fragrance free, just the way I want it. I hope Sappo Hill never changes the ingredients.
