I began my research by interviewing bicyclists, gym and spin class enthusiasts who simply were not happy with their bicycle and exercise bike seats. we then ordered a dozen of the most popular seat cushions from local bicycle stores and some from . we dissected and cut open most of them to get a better understanding of the anatomy of a seat! all the cushions used molded foam. this is the easy way out. it is 30% cheaper and there is hardly any labor involved in sewing the fabric. the main disadvantage of this closed pore foam is that it still feels hard when you ride. we tried to get the foam that we wanted from outside the country, but we did not have any luck as most suppliers wanted us to buy the stock foam. we sourced a custom density open cell foam from a local USA foundry that will absorb the road vibrations and at the same time not feel hard on the sitting bones. custom made liquicell membrane is then placed on top to protect our sensitive skin tissues from breaking down and optimizing blood flow. riding now is less tiring and an enjoyable experience. see the liquicell video. the biggest challenge we had since the foam was not molded is that it needed special manual double stitching. after several months of trying different stitching methods, we finally were able to come out with what we consider the best bicycle seat cushion out there! yes, we double stitched it and use a waterproof cover and adjustable drawstring for an easy fit. two sizes available. also available, a whole line of ergo21 seat cushions for car, trucks, home and office.

GREAT but some reservations...
My husband and I like to do long bike rides in the countryside - most trips being longer than 30 miles - and so seat comfort is a huge issue.I have tried every gel seat on the market with no success. Most are too small for my large style bicycle seat - and the gel always bunches up to make the seat even more uncomfortable. Frustrating, EXPENSIVE and painful to say the least.After doing some research I came upon this seat. Having nothing to lose I gave it a try. It came quickly and was well packed. It is extremely light. And lo and behold it is without a doubt THE MOST comfortable seat pad I have ever tried. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my husband - and he loves it too!The problem is it is so BIG. Even on my big seat is is enormous and will not stay put. My husband had the brilliant solution of stuffing a towel inside the cover and around the bike seat to stabilize it and that works nicely. It does stay put. But it would be better if the manufacturer offered more than one size that fits standard bike seats.Anyway - no more saddle sores for me (or hubby) - and if you can work around the seat size issue as we did I would HIGHLY recommend this seat.

Well Tailored!
Keep in mind that the ERGO is being used with a Hobson seat, which is an altogether different design from most traditional bike seats. And because of that the ERGO had to be attached in a bit different fashion. That being said, what i've encountered concerning the ERGO is that the padding fades fast as is usual with most seats. The foam flattens out quick and stays that way. And forget about "memory-foam" as that is as useful as a screen door on a submarine! Anywho, the padding desperately needs more resiliency like the black foam rubber mechanical engineers utilize for a number of situations in the boiler room. BUT, the ERGO is tailored well and the stitching is superb! As for the circulation aspect, to tell the truth, i honestly can't render an opinion AND my butt can't either. Sorry. I guess we'll just have to take your word on that part. It does seem to have a psychological effect though, at least on occasion. So be Encouraged! ＼(°o°)／

I love this bike seat cushion!
I just slipped it on my existing bike seat and could tell the difference right away. It is soft and spongy unlike other bike seats I have tried. I could hardly feel any bumps on the road and my bottom was not sore as before. I have short legs so I just had to lower the seat a little. Next I will try it on the stationary bike. Never felt this good on my bike. Highly recommended!Update:I took the Ergo21 Bicycle Seat cushion cover to the gym to try it on the stationary bike and couldn't be happier. Liked the fact that I did not have to sit on someone else's sweat and could ride longer without getting numb! Very happy with the purchase.

Say goodbye to monkey butt!
The solution to an age old problem! I only wish that it was invented sooner. I've tried extra foam, memory foam, air and gel, but I have never found anything like this product which provides the right amount of comfort to weight ratio, overall firmness and doesn't interfere with my connection to the machine. It does wonders in it's distribution of weight on the saddle and yet still allows the skin to breathe. I'm so grateful that I decided to give this a try and I really don't ever want to ride a bicycle or motorcycle without it ever again. The sky is the limit for this product and one day I would even like to replace my mattress topper with it. You guys are the absolute best out there and thanks again for the great service! Well made seat cover, with considerations if you already have a padded seat.
Comfy seat, unfortunately the regular is too small for an already padded comfort seat so you should probably order the large size. However several posters stated that the large may even be too large for these, as they are made specifically for exercise equipment. Maybe be worth a try. I will say that the company that makes them is great. Any questions, just call. I spoke to the owner himself - this indicates great customer service. Returns are easy even if you order direct from the company. I ordered through Amazon because of Prime membership and shipping savings.

Great addition!
As a mountain biker for over 35 years I typically ride on a hard/narrow saddle (as do most). I converted an old mountain bike into a "hybrid" road bike and found I was feeling sciatica pain whenever I rode this bike. With the addition of this saddle I no longer have that issue or concern.

correction of earlier review
I have no complaints about this seat cover, but it was never used because it was too small. It took 3 purchases to find a seat cover for an older stationary bicycle to find one that fit, despite measuring carefully. Ended up returning this & buying a jumbo cover that is too big, but stays in place when in use and is comfortable.

Most comfortable bike seat ever.
The seat is better than expected. Fits any bike seat style. Just did my first 15 mile bike ride, and couldn't be happier with the comfort. Also easy and quick to put on, which is why I will also use this on the bike seat in our fitness center.Thank you for the great product and fast shipping.

We love these bike seat cushions!
Although they are expensive, these seats last about a year with heavy use. We find them cushy and comfy - much better than gel products or any other seat cushion I have tried - and I have tried MANY. I have reordered several times now as both my husband and I use them on our bikes - and I will continue to buy replacements as long as these are available for purchase.
