I have a German Shepherd and one cat and have used just about everything under the sun as far as odors and cleaning go. I have to say that X-O is the best thing I've used on odors. I've only used it as an odor zapper and am extremely happy with the results. Once I spray it, I can't detect any of the pet odors anymore. What I really like is that X-O doesn't have a perfumy smell like the ones from the retail stores that purport to get rid of the odors. All they do is mask the odor, not really get rid of it. X-O does neutralize the odor altogether.I've noticed that other people use X-O for cleaning carpets and floors so I may try it that way also. Neither the dog or the cat mind it either. This is key because the cat is temperamental and has messed on the carpet in the past because I tried to deodorize her litter box and it went over like a ton of bricks with her. Happily, she doesn't have any issues with X-O. The dog likes everything all the time so it's harder to tell with her :)

** updated review** not quite as good as I originally thought. After a few days and repeated use, urine odor is still noticeable. That being said, it’s still done better than any other product Ive used to date.I am not being paid to promote this product. I’ve bought a carpet shampooer, three “pet urine” shampoos, and hired a professional to clean carpet. Urine scent from house breaking puppy still lingered. Noticed this product at my bet’s office and thought I’d try it. Urine smell is gone. Period. Nada. Goodbye. Best stuff I’ve ever seen.

We bought a boat and it had a gasoline smell in the cuddy. We tried several things to get rid of the smell but nothing worked. I found this product on Amazon, tried it not knowing if it would work or not and it worked on the first try. The gasoline smell was gone within hours....

My dog had a few accident in the camper, purchased this to help with the lingering odor. Applied twice and can't smell the lingering urine odor anymore

Works! Works! and...Works! I have 3 DDBs in my home and the male urinates on one wall in particular when the girls come into heat. I had tried everything to "erase" the smell so that he would not return to this spot...Windex, Simple Green, Vinegar, Fabric Refresher, Dawn, Mr. Clean, Tide..well, you get the point...This worked! It's been over a month and no more smell, no more leg lifting, no more urine on my wall. I use this on everything now, lol..it works better than a fabric refresher, the smell is sweet but not overwhelming. If you're having doggie odor issues this is your product!

The product seems to neutralize pet odors on carpets and upolstery, but the spray nozzle is worthless. The entire head keeps popping off after the second sqeeze, covering my hands in the product. I've tried to fix it, by reattaching firmly, but it just won't stay on. My frustration with the delivery method means I avoid using this product, so it is hard to say if it is truly worth high marks, or even very effective. I honestly won't be buying this product again, soley because the spray bottle is so awful.

WOW!! What a product. I bought this for controlling the smell in my sugargliders cage. This product works within minutes. It totally eliminated the strong urine and feces smell. I didn't even clean the cage first because I wanted to see how it would work alone. I was astonished to see that it whiped out the strong odors immediately!! I wou;d highly recommend this product.I also have and old stinky chihuahua and sprayed her and rubbed the product into her fur after about 3 minutes she no longer smelled! OMG!, what a product. I love this product.

Spilled all over the shipping box and cat litter box that was with it. Box fell apart. And bottle was empty upon receiving.

This is a life saver. It's helped us keep the house smelling fresh while potty training our puppy, and we've sprayed it on carpet and the couch as well. Has a pleasant smell and fades to "nothing" quickly. It was also great to spray into the canister of our vacuum cleaner before we use it - we inherited a Dyson from a friend who has two dogs, and it always gave off this terrible "wet dog" smell whenever we'd turn it on as air flowed through for the first few minutes. Now that's gone even though we've added a new dog to our household.

I love the product but 2 out of 3 times I ordered the bottle arrived empty!! Must do better at packaging this item!!
