The lantern base is very cheap, my support spokes refused to stay in place so that became a fight while trying to glue the fluff on. The adhesive is not the best… don’t get me wrong - it’s very strong and dries quickly. If you can work quickly enough to not have it dry up on you - perfect. It tore the foam sponge apart while applying to the lantern because it became so tacky quickly, had to pick the black sponge bits off. Then, after letting it dry overnight, the fluff was just tearing away from the glue leaving bare patches. I feel maybe a strong spray craft adhesive would be the way to go and allow to go back easily to fill in patches. The star and moon stickers also barely had tack to them so it was hard to get mine to even stick to each other, they just fell right off the string.All in all, the the idea and kit are super cute and thorough. Everything you need is there to “make the thing”. It has a very temporary feel (at least mine does because of the adhesive issues all around and the cheap lantern). It’s great for my four year old niece as a novelty, but you could likely throw something together that is much sturdier by picking the odds and ends at a craft store and choosing the best tools to assemble. If I went back to make this kit again, I’d at least pick up a can of spray adhesive to use on the fluff and to help the star and moon stickers stay in place.

Brought this for my 9 year old for Christmas and opened the box and the glue had spilled all in the packaging. Contacted the company and they sent me a whole new kit which was nice, but had the same issue with the glue so I just ended up using my own. When putting it together the poles that hold the lantern did not stay and kept coming off while trying to put it together, which was really frustrating. The sponge that comes with it to apply glue came off the stick. Just really disappointed in this kit and not worth $30.

It was really good overall except that the glue leaked in its bag and hardened making it impossible to use for the project.

This was surprisingly engaging for my girls (7&8) I bought this on a whim for a weekend activity. The product comes with everything you need (except glue) which really was my only complaint. The lights all worked and it really is so cute! This was definitely one of the best craft kits that I’ve ever purchased and I’m definitely going to be looking into more crafty things from this company

The kit was a lot of fun for my 13 year old to put together, but unfortunately the LED lights don’t work. So we are stuck with a cute, fluffy cloud instead of a lamp. I’m a lot more disappointed about this then she is.

A great hands on activity for a child and their parents to do together. Packaged beautifully, all pieces neatly packed separately inside the main product box. High quality and fun for girls of any age!

I was struggling to find out what to get a 9 year old. So glad that I settled on getting this lamp. Her mom says that she loves it!

This is the cutest thing for my 9 year old “girlie but science and engineering loving” daughter. She has had her fair share of art projects but this cloud was more than just an art project. The end product is a custom hanging cloud lamp. She never needed any help from me and was able to show me how it worked. I could tell she was so proud of herself and I was definitely one proud mama. I will be ordering this for my tween nieces this Christmas.
